The latest rumor that seems to be semi confirmed is that independent wrestler Alex Zayne has signed. Before the lame "who?" Jokes come in, if you haven't seen him wrestle he's well worth a look. Very fast and agile, tall, muscular. He really seems like someone who has potential to make a real big splash in the 'E. Personally I think he's one of the top male independent recruits possible right now.

I have many friends who know him very well, I never met the guy, and they all say he's really good. So good on WWE for bringing in new talent. Now lets see if he just floats around NXT for a couple of years before falling by the wayside.

From what I can tell he seems talented. Good for him and good luck to him.
I would give him a new name to avoid being tied to Sami. Even with the spelling difference, it's still too similar.
Glad to see WWE actively adding new talent to NXT. They've lost a lot of top stars to the main roster lately.
Least I got here before the "he should know better", "being wasted", or "stuck in catering" comments.

Honestly one of the best guys I’ve met in pro wrestling, though I met him outside wrestling. Super chill and crazy talented. If this news is true, I’m very excited for him. Also excited at the idea of him getting a figure one day.
