Ok, from what I've gathered looking at all my figures and the pictures I've seen. It isn't only the scale within the line that's the atrocity, because, let's face it, Mattel has huge issues with this itself. It's the fact that, for a line that promised to be in proportion with Mattel... it ain't. I've heard talk of the Dustin figure being about as tall as a Mattel 'Taker figure. Dustin is tall, mind you. But even going by billed height, Undertaker has a good 5 inches on Dustin... which, btw, is the same billed height difference between him and Cody. By their own logic, Dustin should be as small against the Deadman as Cody is to him. But then that would make Cody practically Marko Stunt sized by any reasonable size scale! I mean, I guess they can say they DID make it in the Mattel scale in a way - just like Mattel, they can't decide how the heck they want to scale things. Neither company has this ish down yet. Sure, I'm more than happy to rail on Jazwares for making Dustin as tall as the Undertaker. But I'm not going to pretend that Mattel hasn't put out multiple Ricochets that stand over 6 foot tall. In real height, Dustin and Taker aren’t *that* fat from each other. (not the best photo) This is a very valid point, and one that should be made. But, and correct me if I'm wrong on this, I believe that AEW figures are supposedly (so far) being made according to their "Billed Height". Isn't that what I heard/read. That they're going by billed height and/or google? Because if that is the case... Undertaker: Supposedly 6'10" Dustin: Supposedly 6'6" Cody: Supposedly 6'1"
And, if that's the case? judging from how close the three of them are in photographic evidence...
Maybe the problem is less the figures and more the BS Gimmicked heights.

You gotta remember 95 percent of the guys on the aew roster are 6'1 and under. I feel a lot of ppl forget or just don't think about how huge Dustin really is. He hides it well with always being slouched down in a corner and what not. But the guy is a beast.

That's definitely an issue. Also FWIW, I'm certainly not saying there aren't scale issues with the AEW line (Box especially) but I think people are blowing the Dustin thing out of proportion because they don't think of him as a big guy because he's never really been billed or presented as such.

The same can be said of Mox. He's never somebody who I thought of as a large guy in WWE, but he's billed at 6'4"

Once again, Dustin is not that much shorter than 'Taker, so his height doesn't need fixing. The Moxley may be slightly too tall, but - for whatever reason, he's billed at 6' 4", so it 's fine. Once again, the only figure that needs a height correction is Cody... even though as I'm never going to buy one, I couldn't give two sh*ts what height it is.

I think people are looking at the wrong things with the Dustin figure. It needs to be rescaled. It looked like Dustin was on steroids. His overall body is too big IMO. Height wise he’s fine too but just retool the figure to be built more like him than a roided out version of him. The calves really throw me off it makes him look too tall even though he’s not

Add OC to the scale list. He is TINY. Once you get the jacket/shirt off that is. Sure, he's thin in real life ... but not that thin. Pretty sure it's the same torso as Darby, who does look right as he is little.

After getting 12 of these, Mox and Goldust aren’t THAT out of scale. They could be slightly shorter and Cody taller but it’s fine overall

Cut the peg piece off including the base Then choose the size you prefer as we all have different ideas of what looks right This was my first run at it so I just followed verbatim next one I may attempt differently who knows But I used the bottom of the pocket as described as my reference point for slicing

I personally don't think Mox is that out of scale. I think the other figures are. Mox and Triple H are both 6'4.

[quote author=" Robz PippinRoad " source="/post/9026353/thread" timestamp="1611498793" [/quote] Mox and 'Taker look like they're holding hands, lol. Also, until I stand next to him, nobody is going to convince me that Moxley is legit 6'4.

That was my biggest concern about this line was not wanting a dramatically different scale from Mattel for 35$ on the low end(shipping) I think if they tried to figure out who in the line is legit six feet tall, do their best to accurate scale it to where the figure is an inch for each foot, and then alter the figures around the base scaled figures.

I'm 6'5" 270 lbs and I've spent my whole life not realizing I was large (maybe not giant)wrestler size because of inflated billed height and weight. I mean, I watched Billy GUnn for *years* and never noticed that he was both quite large and actually the exact same size as me. crapis weird.
