Just curious what you guys think. I added people who either are on the edge of breaking out into huge stars or I think have potential there to be stars.
For me it’s Hangman, obviously. Everyone knows I’m a huge fan of him. But all of these people are great. I think Wardlow is a great second option for me

hangman first sure, but I voted ricky starks as he's been recognized for his great potential and he's nailed every opportunity thats been given

Hangman is an obvious answer but to me he already did break out. I expect he'll win the title at some point next year (assuming they're playing the long game for Omega vs. Page which I hope is the case).
I'm basing breaking out as in someone who AEW starts building around. I voted for other and going with Rey Fenix.

I went with Hangman. Solely because the build to him vs Kenny for the title has been built so well and we're likely only halfway through the build.
We was over with the crowds, so as soon as more fans are allowed he's going to get mega reactions.

I would say Hangman but I don't really consider him a break out star anymore imo he's already a star and probably will win his first World Championship next year. So ill go with Fenix, now since it looks like the Lucha Bros could be done he should be contending for single titles very soon.

He needs to be the annoying heel lackey who gets tossed around every match, as opposed to the annoying face lackey who gets thrown around every match. |

I actually think most of these guys/girls are already stars.
I'd exclude Starks, Wardlow, and Hobbs from the rest. Those are the talents that are truly unproven at this level.
I'm actually going to pick "other" and say John Silver. I found him annoying at first, and still hate all the campy stuff, but he's won me over in the ring, and in promos.

I agree that most of this list has already "broken out". I went with Wardlow since I think he's headed for the biggest increase in 2021. Starks has already shot up huge otherwise he would be the pick

I say Thunder Rosa if she signs will break out and win the AEW Women's Title next year.
For the guys I'd say Ricky Starks and Wardlow.

People said the EXACT same thing about Orange... OC can go in the ring though. Marko is forever an undercard guy, and that's totally fine. I think kids love him and there's people who like him for his selling skills in squash matches. He could get some pops, but I'd bet a ton of money against him getting a Cassidy-like push. |
