It has not been a good year for Cody PR wise. I’m sure many will turn this into a WWE vs AEW thing, but this is not a healthy work environment.

It's a big big leap to read this and just outright say Cody sucks. Notice how in 90% of that everything about Cody was just stuff he heard from his own boss. Also the guy did not work for aew. That's why he couldn't say he worked for aew. He worked for a company called comeback studios, which is a subdivision of ddpy. Aew hired them. He worked for comeback studios who did work for aew, he did not work directly for aew. This is not an aew work environment, which has been universally praised by people with tons of years in the business. This is an indictment of ddp and his company, not aew, despite what the guy writing it seems to think.
In other words, this thread title kinda sucks

When I was first reading about this story my thought was “oh great, now people are gonna get on Cody’s case even more now.” But hopefully if this dude is kinda shady then this will blow over pretty quickly and be forgotten about.

This whole story is a mess. From being found out that he worked for a subsidiary of AEW's production, not AEW directly. To the posts where he says he worked for AEW directly, when they told him not to. To the dug up tweets. There's so much drama going on in this. I feel like this ended up only harming himself in the end. While I don't think Cody is the saint of saints, because no one is, I do feel like this is more so a problem with his direct boss instead of Cody. Weird situation to say the least.
