So I am not sure if anyone read this today, but apparently Jimmy Rave - who used to wrestle in ROH and for TNA a few times back in the early and mid 2000s - had to get his arm amputated from an infection, thus ending his wrestling career.
Not sure how he let that go so long to have that happen?? I am also thinking it was probably a staph infection if it was in his elbow area.
Still, what a crappy way to end your wrestling career by having an amputation because you were careless about treating yourself and getting better.

He played air guitar in the Rock n Rave Connection with Lance Rock/Hoyt/Archer.

He was wrestling for Catalyst Wresting (formally Capitol Wrestling) out of New Jersey the last I knew. Which was maybe a few months ago. Crazy.
