Jerry Lawlers theme seems to have some hint of Mussorgsky’s Great Gate of Kiev influence.

I always thought Kevin Owen's theme sounded similar towards this.
Also, a lot of folks probably already caught on to this but I think Hawkins impact theme borrowed a riff from the spiderman cartoon theme.(around the 0:33 mark)

Ravens WCW was a rip of Come as you are by Nirvana and Jericho’s was Def inspired by Evenflow by Pearl Jam They also had several jobber entrances that used The Zoo by the Scorpions. Rick Steiner’s solo heel act towards the end was Welcome to the Jungle by Guns n Roses. Perry Saturn had The Beautiful People. Jarrett had Cowboy by Kid Rock. I think Russo had an Iron Man ripoff as well. Being the musician that he was, Jimmy Hart played a huge part in tweaking these songs just enough to keep WCW out of court, according to DDP. He said Dave Grohl was very upset about his Smells like Teen Spirit theme but was even more mad that he couldn’t do anything about it. DDP's song has been removed from the WWE network and replaced with a generic rock track made by Jim Johnston. Dave may have the final laugh in the end because all of DDP's WCW run is tarnished without getting to hear the incredible crowd reactions he was getting. Several of the Hart made WCW songs that were blatant remakes have been dubbed out, not all but most. Some of the blatant remakes are stock library production tracks.

I actually prefer the fed rip. But maybe I am blinded by nostalgia.

I actually prefer the fed rip. But maybe I am blinded by nostalgia. I’m sure they used to use that theme for the UK PPV’s so it kinda fits the narrative given the band are British.

Hulk Hogan’s pre-Real American theme is pretty much Bonnie Tyler’s Ravishing. I am 47 years old and NEVER knew this until now!!!
