You know, the way so many of you blast re-releases, it's like you forget that not everyone has been collecting Mattel figures since Day One.
Not everyone who is in this hobby has been in it hardcore since 2010. There are new collectors every day who, for the record, don't have thousands of dollars to drop on the old elites. And, to those new collectors, having re-release elites like Andre and such is a godsend because it means we can finally afford to add them to our collection.
I'm so damn tired of having to point out that not all collectors have ample funds and ample opportunities. Just stop already.

If these lineups are true (kinda hope not), here’s what I’ll be hoping /looking forward too.
JYD -hoping its in his LJN attire with new sculpt
Roddy Piper - looking like its 92, but would love another 85-86,a wcw, president piper, NWA piper. . Anything different and new.
Cowboy Bob Orton (only if it’s a new sculpt, maybe possibly put him in his Mania 1 outfit)
Legends 14
Mean Mark Calous ...I guess
Legends 15
Andre The Giant chase -Only if it’s not in a black singlet. What about suit Andre? Andre with the huge crazy smile, showing his 32 rows of teeth. Could do a proper mania 1 Andre with duffle bag.
The DX Army is a cool idea and an iconic moment so I get it, but it’s not something that personally pops me. I was a big fan of DX back then too.
Overall I guess I’m looking forward to JYD the most.
Where’s all the Hulksters brothers?

I’m considering assembling the DX Army. That’s it though. Definitely need more WCW guys from 96-2001. Would love for the Nash to be WCW Wolfpack to match the Hall that’s coming out.

Am I the only wondering where the proof for line ups 13 - 15 is??
Like seriously, if I just made up line ups for legends 16 - 20, would everyone just eat it up and go along with it??
Can someone post the actual proof of those future legends line ups??? If not, then you guys need to stop being so gullible.

honestly i hate "leaks"....they ruin the collecting hobby. people are so goddamn IMPATIENT and expect mattel to be revealing lineups and brand new first time ever figures every week it seems. and if not then people complain and bitch about it. "omg where is the NEW STUFF aaarrgggggghhhhh!!!" im willing to bet no toy line on earth puts out as much product in a year that mattel wwe does. yet people are not satisfied with what we get instead its asking Steve "when are the NEXT reveals?  ?" literally the day after we had just gotten a bunch and then we get others on instagram ruining more crap by posting weird stolen pictures and sharing lineup sheets. which leads to more bitching because they aren't releasing what you want or what you think they "should" release. this entire world has created such a selfish, entitled attitude of so many people especially in the world of toy collecting. |

My favorite thing about these kind of threads is learning how old everyone is. You can tell by who they get most excited by (in terms of era) figuring that's when they watched as a kid or teen. Like, with me ... I'm spazzing over Mean Mark ... and have ZERO interest in the Acolytes. Others grew up with DX Army and are losing their mind ... yet scoff at JYD.
And no one wants Alexa Bliss.

I've been collecting Mattel figures from the beginning. I'm at the point where I'm ok with the lack of variety. It allows me to step back and spend money on other things I collect.

I’m totally fine with the Legends lineups. I like the idea of the themed DX Army, and having ring gear on underneath will make it an added value.

Having hard to find or rare figures that are desirable. I don’t have every figure I wanted but I either save or just chalk it up as something I won’t. What real fun is collecting if you have stuff everyone else in the hobby has. |

Great list, I'd buy those. Though I would change the chase to JYD. 1992 IC Champ Piper 1997 DX Invasion Billy Gunn 2002 NWO Nash 1980s JYD (Red) 1980s JYD (Blue) (Chase) I just don’t think JYD will sell well enough to be the chase. Nash seems the most logical choice in my opinion. I think JYD will be in red. Wouldn't that make him the most likely choice then? They don't make more figures for the chase, they just split what they have between two different attires. Some people may want to pick up the regular version, some would want to pick up the chase, and others may be more likely to pick up both since its different looks. And, others who aren't really interest in JYD may be more likely to pick up the chase figure because its rare. |

I’m happy with these reveals. I wish there was more first time legends, but I understand Mattel has limitations put on them by WWE. If these are accurate, I’m excited to see what they’re going to do with Piper, JYD, and Andre.

I feel you - but at the same time, not everyone is a new collector either... a lot of people have been with the line since the start (or a long time) so already have most of these names. Ideally, it would be cool if we could get a mixture of new/different names and rereleases to keep both camps happy... |
