I still haven’t seen anything where somebody was hating on Steve. I mean obviously if you do something as in directing a movie, sculpting items, make toys, manufacturer cars etc. you’re gonna have criticism , if you can’t handle criticism , then you’re in the wrong profession. People here voice their opinions based on the product they pay money for, and as collectors they spend ALOT of money. And those people don’t want half baked stuff. bill has stated plenty of times how much of a big wrestling fan he is, so there is no excuse to why every legend figure which he grew up watching, is wrong. I mean, obviously you’re not going to have something do without looking at a photo and drawing up a rough draft to make sure it’s right. So, when you get figures that’s wrong or half assed, you know before it’s even released you’re going to get back lash for it. Let’s go to the UE Hogan for example, Steve mentioned it’s going to have unpainted stubble because they didn’t have time to make it right, but who’s got the gun to their head making them push this figure out now instead of pushing the release date back to make sure it’s right? And I’m not hating, I’m voicing my opinion like everybody else , we all want these figures, but when you get something that’s not right or it’s got something wrong, you ain’t excited nor want it. People voicing their opinions do it so they’ll see it and hopefully get better in time. If we get in here and never complain , bevsyse most of all complaints are deleted or never seen, then this is why we keep getting half assed product. And again, I’m not hating on Mattel or whatever, I just want something worth buying, and majority of the same posts I see are the same. And of course you have a very few who take it to far, I haven’t seen any of that yet. Right. I don’t agree with death threats but I do agree with being able to voice your complaints and issues you have with something you are paying for. I’m sure Bill has his limits, but for example I don’t feel like that means he has to make a figure attire that’s a mashup of multiple attires. I’m not sure about the death threats, never heard anything about that. But as he talks about how big of a fan he is/was, what’s the deal with the mash ups? I agree there. I mean what’s the point in the first slim Jim macho man, then make another that’s better but not right? It’s all to do with budget cuts and how to save a penny. That’s why a lot of people I’ve known over the years have sold off their collection and at times I’ve came close. And to me, Mattel loses money when it comes to legend collectors, or however they do these limited edition figures, people spend more money on 2nd hand buyers instead of running around store to store looking for these things. Taking them off of ringside to me lost them a lot of money, bevsyse those buyers are now spending double the price from people who’s not even a collector, instead of using that money to get them from Mattel, now mattel isn’t seeing that money at all. |

I wish so many of you would take business 101. If a certain deco, fabric, shirt design, etc didn’t happen it’s probably for budget reasons. Spend the money on new fabric for Piper’s kilt or use the old one they already have on hand and use the savings on other product, figures, deco, etc? Hmm I wonder what a business would pick. You act like their inaccuracies are directly pointed at you and meant to hurt your nostalgic childhood memories. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. I doubt 14 people complaining on a fig forum is educating them on what to do in the future. I’m sure their bosses tell them to focus on making sure Piper’s kilt is accurate and not profit margins or budgets during their marketing meetings. Business 101? More like Zoey 101. Are you ready? But if it’s the same person just over and over and it’s really nothing to complain about and they literally never have anything good to say, then ban them. But if your complaining about something that you think should be complained about and it’s not constant, then it shouldn’t be a big deal. |

If my job had an online forum and I could choose to go on there in my own time and I got his with questions with “hey any chance you could use accurate parts as that last one really sucked” would I want to spend my spare time answering that again and again? Likely not. I don’t think anyone hates on Steve or did Bill, but they sure do phrase their questions rudely at times and they don’t really have to be on here. Being polite is free. |

The way I look at it, eventually the ban hammer will get dropped on the new, exceptionally rude member that has seemingly only had negative things to say. Judging by their posts on the forum so far, I’d hate to see how they cope with day-to-day life 😬
I for one just hope that we don’t have the same thing happen to Steve that happened with Bill.

I have never seen DiBiase or Tatanka on stores, and they took Tatanka off their website (not that they ever have them in stock). It’s just hard to get excited about any figures there days.

I have never seen DiBiase or Tatanka on stores, and they took Tatanka off their website (not that they ever have them in stock). It’s just hard to get excited about any figures there days. They did have him in stock, you just weren’t quick to the draw man. The set has been plentiful. You just gotta hit the stores up regularly. |

Which means the figures will almost surely go live either too early or late, leading to infinite complaining on here. |
