Looks like there’s a movie line coming. Rock from Hobbs and Shaw Piper from They Live Cena from F9
Is this real? Seems so hard to negotiate the licenses and niche -- but I could see them trying it for mass market appeal...
So we need: Hogan as Rip, Mr Nanny, Suburban Commando Tiny as Zeus Savage as Bonesaw Nash as Supershredder (I know, NECA did it) Cena, Orton, Miz as The Marine What others… |

WWE has a massive deal with them through Peacock and USA Network so this line could be legit at least for a series or two. |

Joe as well as any of the characters from the old Rock n' Wrestling cartoon show. |

What a weird choice. Maybe in the right scenario this could be a cool release. But The Rock figure is basically just E81 with a skirt on. It's such a bare bones, low effort figure. And there isn't even the crossover appeal and novelty that something like the Ghostbuster figures had.
I'd definitely consider buying Piper. But zero interest in anything else.

Rock and Cena from those movies may not appeal to a lot of us on these boards but it will definitely bring new eyes on the product. Even if a bunch of people only buy those two figures and no other WWE, that's still a pretty massive get for them. Those are huge, huge movies.
And obviously the Piper one is going to have significant crossover with us, between the amount of Legends collectors here and the general cult fandom for They Live. Really the only things missing here are No Holds Barred figures, and I wouldn't be shocked if they make an Elite 2-pack at some point. (Because really, if you were just going to make a Hogan, you'd put him in here for the 4-figure wave just like Target gets.)

I noticed the Walmart listings say Rock as Hobbs and Cena as Jakob T but only says Piper so I’m guessing there will be no They Live branding on his packaging.
