Double standard? Vince is exactly like that "poisonous" Orange guy that everybody hates. Vince is on video doing and saying some damning things. The only slack he gets here is when people don't like the product as they continue to fill his wallet. THAT'S a hilarious double standard. have you been hanging with RVD? where are these "videos" of Vince saying things or doing things that are as bad as Trump? i've never seen or heard of this my ENTIRE life, and i've been a WWE/wrestling fan for 30 years. all ive ever seen is the ridiculous narrative that vince is racist because he booked saba simba or papa shango or whatever...and he supposedly never pushes minorities and only white guys have been top stars, etc. See. Double standard. How do you think some of the things Vince had the women doing in the "Attitude Era" would go over today? Telling Trish to get on her hands and knees and bark like a dog? Oh. MY WHAT?ok now i get it. but to answer part of this honestly....the stuff they did in the RUTHLESS AGGRESSION era would not go over today. but thats more due to the way society has changed and not what is actually acceptable whether or not it SHOULD have been acceptable back then is irrelevant. to be honest it wasn't really acceptable, but it was bringing in ratings and the voice of the minority wasn't anywhere near as strong as it is now (minority in this case being whiny complaining twitter warriors....not the other definitions of minority) however nobody complains about "adult" scenes in tv shows like game of thrones. nobody complains about murder and serial killers on cop shows like NCIS. nobody complains about shows like the bachelor or big brother that actively promote sexist behavior from both sides most of those shows are the highest rated, highest talked about shows on television |
