Hangman has been losing steam since he and Kenny split, and now he's in a program with these Dark Order goofs? Bad booking. Strong disagree. Hangman needs a very long arc to take the belt from Kenny, and the dark order part of the story can go for a long time and really plays into the hangman story. Had friends, was on the pinnacle of success. Developed self-doubt and crashed under the pressure. Holds himself responsible for breaking his friendships, only driven worse by seeing Omega and Bucks succeed. Dark Order is always looking for their next great recruit and are looking to exploit Page's vulnerabilities. There's definitely logic to it. I see a guy who's near the top getting involved with a mid-card comedy act though. Them popping up from behind the bar is exactly the kind of stuff I don't want Hangman involved in. I have no problem with him and Brodie Lee. These Dark Order goofs are bottom of the barrel though. Brodie Lee has no business being their leader, and I don't think Hangman shouldn't be wasting his time with them either. The concept is solid, but there's nothing about them that would make anyone think they're a threat. Brodie Lee a deranged lunatic and a cult leader, and THOSE are the people he trusts to do his work? Taz wants ass whoopin violence, and goes and gets Starks, Hobbs, and Cage to do the work. Brodie wants to take over with John Silver and #10? It just doesn't work for me. |
