There's definitely logic to it. I see a guy who's near the top getting involved with a mid-card comedy act though. Them popping up from behind the bar is exactly the kind of stuff I don't want Hangman involved in. I have no problem with him and Brodie Lee. These Dark Order goofs are bottom of the barrel though. Brodie Lee has no business being their leader, and I don't think Hangman shouldn't be wasting his time with them either. The concept is solid, but there's nothing about them that would make anyone think they're a threat. Brodie Lee a deranged lunatic and a cult leader, and THOSE are the people he trusts to do his work? Taz wants ass whoopin violence, and goes and gets Starks, Hobbs, and Cage to do the work. Brodie wants to take over with John Silver and #10? It just doesn't work for me. Had the same issue once upon a time about the DO recruits being a little lacking, but cults don't target the best and brightest of society. They go after the weak, the downtrodden, the vulnerable promising something better. Like most leaders, Brodie covets power over his followers. Not only for the feeling of superiority, but for handy scapegoats when the leader fails to catch the blame. Fine if it's not your taste.

I swear you guys only notice Aubrey because you hate her so much lol. I don't notice her anymore than I notice Knox/Turner/remsburg Haha. Whenever I look at her she's always selling a move. ALWAYS. I only look at her once or twice a match though so she never actually stands out to me either. I looked at her a lot when AEW first started because she was always selling things. I thought it was funny. Once I realized she ALWAYS does it, I didn't care anymore and stopped noticing.

I'm a fan of Abaddon. She's not exactly amazing in the ring but I like her gimmick, which is really surprising considering I can't stand the undertaker or Kane when they were doing that type of gimmick. (American badass taker was just that lol)

would've much preferred a shanna match on dynamite rather than dark over an abadon match... but at least we got some shida, so i won't complain.

I don’t dislike Abadon. Haven’t seen much of her but I’m sure it’ll be a fine match for Shida to win She’s green. A bold look and a great theme can only get you so far. She has a lot of room to improve

Abadon with a 4 minute win there, as it should be against an opponent like that. AEW got it right that time.

I think they're gonna wait potentially even until after Christmas for Shanna to help her shake off the rust. Can still very much see it in her dark matches, considering they've been her first two in how long

There's a reason why people like Silver's and 10's are the front and center of the group. For the exact reason you said. They are weak minded and would do anything for their leader Brodie, even when he isn’t around. I always thought it made 100% sense, and this Hangman storyline makes sense as well. But oh well. I'm personally interested in this story.

I'm just not big on Abadon's look as if she's a hit and run victim, I just find it's in a bit of bad taste but I don't have a horse in the race so nbd

Kenny Omega will be a great heel champ and Callis being part of the act adds to it.
