It was recently reported that Vince McMahon "threw a fit" about the ability of some stars on the WWE main roster. Apparently, McMahon specifically targeted the "big guys" and ordered them to go back to the Performance Center to retrain with Adam Pearce and Drew Gulak. Now PWInsider has confirmed that one of those "big guys" sent to hone his skills at the PC is the "Limitless One" Keith Lee. The report also confirms that Otis, Dabbo Kato, Dio Maddin and AJ Styles' bodyguard Omos are among several wrestlers that have been ordered to improve and refine their in-ring work in regular workouts at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. pwinsider.com/article/142120/wwe-working-to-refine-talents.html?p=1

How do you handle that if you are one of the people targeted by his rant? You work your way up to WWE and then soon after you are thrown back into training because Vince doesn't like what you can/are doing? Awkward as hell coming back, even more so if Vince still has a problem with you. Yikes.

Keith Lee and Otis aren’t going there to “hone their skills”. They’re clearly being sent there to have them on a set regiment which in turn will help them lose weight and nothing can make me think otherwise.

The article headline makes it seem like they are being sent back to NXT, when in reality Vince just wants them to work out more. Weird this comes out the day after it’s announced Lee might be in the WWE title match at Wrestlemania.

Can't have no flabbo heavily featured on the biggest stage of the year.

Ten quid says he just wants Keith to work off his belly.
To be fair, this exact same thing happened with Big Show in '00 and look at the career he's had. It's an opportunity to show you aren't a bell end and that you're a team player who's willing to put in the hours. If they've a brain in their heads they'll do as they're bloody well told.

On the one hand, I don't know a single professional athlete in any sport that doesn't practice regularly, why would wrestling be any different.
On the other hand, when I think of improving in ring performance, WWE is probably the last place that would come to mind.

Keith Lee is set to main event the biggest event of the year with 2 of the bigger/est names in the company....but first he must hone his skills with a 205L guy that has been on the lower/mid card his entire tenure
Good ol Meltzer

Star level athletes are notoriously horrid at coaching. If you survey the best coaches in any sport, you're going to find the majority of them describe themselves as mediocre athletes. Edit: also Meltzer never mentioned any names, that was pwinsider

In that case, you could say the same about the majority of their roster. If VKM didn't think he was ready or didn't like his weight, why call him up? Maybe Lee should 'roid up like his bosses...

Maybe Lee should 'roid up like his bosses... he doesn't look like Goldberg. The second he came out on tv in a singlet I knew Vince would take him off tv because "he's fat" despite being in better shape than Goldberg, Taker, and any of the other old ass people(except Edge) that they bring bac. It's why the company is in the shape it's in and has no stars anymore

The latest in the Limitless saga: Keith Lee doesn't have it according to Vince's gut and his inner circle telling him so, despite Vince going ga-ga over Lee after last year's Survivor Series performance and numerous talents praising his work. Source makes note that Vince is having to rely more on his "instincts" and trusted allies to make decisions, due to the lack of live crowds.
On a semi-related note, Bruce Pritchard is supposedly burying the way talent is being trained down in NXT.
All this coming from Ringside News

They have been called out by multiple wrestlers, other sites for making up stories, quotes etc
