The generations line, along with everything else, has been flying off shelves due to the bogo 50% off sale. Tuesday I got a PCC 5 pack (bombshock and combaticons) and deluxe hftd ironhide for 50% off. I went back to there today and they had no leader starscreams so I asked an associate and he pulled a case from the back....starscream is by far my favorite transformer figure of all time....I guess because we've been waiting 3 years for this mold to finally happen but he has exceeded my expecatations. This was at the Willow Grove TRU.....so check your TRUs because most of them are stocking up and if you don't see something, ask an associate! Very true I ordered mine on TRU.com when I saw the sale they had then I ordered Skyburst's combiner figure and 3 combiners which are really fun to mess around with. I also ordered some of the missing links in my Robot Replicas collection. Yeah man the sale is just absolutely incredible.....I'm so shocked hasbro released brand new stuff and during its first week on shelves its on sale already |

Very true I ordered mine on TRU.com when I saw the sale they had then I ordered Skyburst's combiner figure and 3 combiners which are really fun to mess around with. The last wave of recent figures was the NEST line related to the movie, and that was back in February/March....Everything else I'd seen had been collecting dust until the generations, PCC and HFTD line hit. I'm waiting for Masterpiece Grimlock too....they had him schedule for a July 1st release, but with the sale I'm sure they'd be losing money on him |

My TRU finally got Generations in and I was able to snag the last Drift. Was super happy! Love the figure, its awesome. I saw BB and Thrust and Prime there as well. Thrust looks good and BB looks like an interesting mesh of cartoon and movie, but Prime looked awful. The TFs movies are ruining the figures.

This is off topic but does anybody know if Hasbro has plans on releasing the old casset tape transformers that they had back in the 80's?

Finally got my hands on Cybertronian Megatron and Soundwave, along with Generations (Sergeant?!) Kup and Blurr (repainted Drift).
Did they put out any WFC toys other than Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Soundwave? I'm really diggin' the look (they resemble their video game counterparts pretty closely) and want to make sure I'm not missing out on any. I know they made a repainted Bumblebee (I don't remember his name...Cliffjumper?...he's red, whoever he is), but I don't recall him being in the game, so I passed.

In need of some help. I want a Bumblebee and Optimus Prime transformer for my collection along with some of the older figures I already have. I want one of the larger figures, In the ultimate/leader area.
Can anyone recommend a good one of both that would fit in well together?

If you want a classic iconic prime, then I'd go for the masterpiece optimus prime. He might run ya a bit, but he is die-cast and worth every penny. Bumblebee though is difficult...I feel like the movie figures are iconic enough since they really drew in more transformer fans. If you like the style of the movie figures then Human Alliance or leader (dark of the moon) bumblebee are great...revenge of the fallen optimus is good as well. I've been on a DOTM spree. Picked up Leader Sentinel, Bee and Ironhide, as well as voyager shockwave and megatron. Loving the ironhide..absolutely huge! I'm also expecting my first ever botcon exclusives in the form of 1 autotrooper and animated sideswipe |

I don't normally customize my Transformers, but one thing always bugged me about Classics Optimus Prime... the yellow on his helmet. So, I painted it silver.  That's TF3 PowerGlide with Op. He's a really nice movie version of the G1 minicon, even down to the colors and faceplate on his head.  Next up I was looking over Classics/Generations Prowl and he just seems so plain and boring, so I popped on TFTM and watched him die long enough to see he needed some silver to look more G1ish, so I painted his thighs and shoulder cannons.  I got a 10 dollar gift card in the mail from Kohl's and also had a 20% off coupon so I went to check them out, nothing mattel WWE, and not much with the TF's either but they did have Tracks, so I picked him up for $1.23! Finally, I call this photo "Hand it over, Bish!"  |
