lookin good man! You picking up anything from botcon/dotm/kre-o? Nothing from BC for me. Been years since I've chased any of the con exclusives. Fractyl & Packrat was the last exclusive I got and those were Beast Wars toys, so that should say something, lol. I'd like to pick up DOTM Shockwave, but I'm holding off waiting for a sale. Powerglide is really nice for a scout figure. I haven't seen the Kreo's yet, but the mini figs look nice. Wouldn't mind a few of those. What I'm mainly waiting on are more of the Classics/Generations/HFTD deluxes to hit. I'm really looking forward to Wheeljack, Thundercracker, Warpath and Wreck-Gar... just wish they'd start showing up in stores already! |

I'm thinking of starting to collect a few Transformers figures, preferably the movie versions. Can anyone recommend me to some good figures? I know there are tons so I'm not sure what the best options would be.

my wife got me the start of the tfc toys hercules for our anniversary...
exgraver is nice... very well made.. bigger than i was expecting.. has a great transformation too...
yeah the price is a bit heafty , but i think its worth it.. next payday i should be adding heavylabor to the collection...

got the second installment of hercules today...
again.. very well made product.. plastic isnt brittle.. transformation is nice.. everything is very sturdy..
i should be getting the next two parts for christmas... once i have those.. i can join the four together... ill snap some pics if anyone is interested...

for good movie figures, I will recommend DA-28 Striker Optimus, 1 of the most accurate Optimus figures ever.
I myself am particular to the shockwave laserbeak combination

I know there are tons so I'm not sure what the best options would be. recon ironhide is great(in my opinion the best ironhide), just for accessories at least are we talking about character who appear in the films of character from the toyline in movie style, there are tons of figs that never appeared in the movies but were great toys |

I just discovered this TF thread here at WF. Here is my small collection.  These are my movie figs as of 2010. I really didn't get too many DOTM toys except for Voyager Megatron and Takara's Version of Version of Optimus Prime w/Trailor.  What is in this pic is TF Classics and Alternators to the left, and TF Animated to the right. Autobots on top shelf, Decepticons on the bottom. One of my Favortie action shots  These pics are old and I have got a lot more since like these Transforemres Prime 1st Edition figures. The room I used to keep all my figs in now belongs to my baby, good trade off hence why I haven't taken up to date photos.  Nothing more just thought I'd contribute to the TF thread here on WF. |

I found WFC Optimus Prime, Jazz and Shockwave at my local TRU... There was only 1 Jazz and 3 each of optimus Prime and Shockwave...

And of cooourse Cliffjumper is in FoC...when I'd passed on the WFC figure...time to find one on eBay that isn't too ridiculous.
The WoC figures, to me, are a letdown. Some of it has to do the changes (more specifically to Optimus Prime) with the design model, and, in what will be the ONLY time I complain about this, there's more kibble on their backs in the game than on the toys themselves.

I started collecting a few transformers. Looking at mostly the voyager size and keeping it small. I have foc soundsave and Beaster hunters shockwave so far. Really want a foc grimlock but they are pricey on the bay currently. I want a tf prime megatron too.
