Well humanoids a new year means a new thread from yours truly. We all know theme songs are vital to pro wrestling and we've seen some iconic /classic ones through the years and some well not so good.
In this thread I'm gonna put spotlight on both the good, bad and downright ugly. No theme is off limits! Feel free to share memories of the theme,if you liked/hated it etc.
Since we're in January I'm starting with the timeless Royal Rumble theme from the early 90s. A theme used originally for SSlam 88 and 89 but would be used for the Rumble starting in 91 until 94.Didnt matter it you heard it during the PPV previews with Mean Gene or during the beginning of the show with Vince doing the voice over, This theme got you PUMPED!

Always loved this theme with Vince naming the Rumble participants during the weekend show Royal Rumble reports. I also have a soft spot for the SummerSlam '89 opening with this theme and the clips of wrestlers/summer activities.

Do you trust me?
His babyface theme was great but damn this theme was another level. So sinister. Perfect for his heel character in 91/2.

A great theme that fit Jake’s new menacing persona along with the cobra.

Jake was scheduled for a virtual signing last month but it was cancelled due to I'm guessing his health issuses. But anyway they were selling his latest Mattel fig that I bought for em to sign live. I had it down for em to sign ''Trust Me'' along with his signature. Wouldve looked great in green.
Hopefully he bounces back and can do the signing in the future! All the best to the snake man.

Both of Jakes themes were absolutely excellent. Great thread idea man...Theme tunes were absolutely crucial to many acts & its something that fascinates me.

An excellent few there.
Royal Rumble theme was excellent, no question. Always found it slightly camp (and I mean that as a positive) and generally good fun.
Jake’s 2nd theme was undoubtedly the best. I still get goosebumps at his SSeries 91 promo when he finishes off saying it is the end of the beginning, trust me and his theme kicks in. Quite a chilling vibe to the theme which was fitting to his heel character.
Being a fellow “Scot”, was always a fan of Pipers theme, although ironically not overly fussed for Piper himself.
And the Model’s theme was excellent as well. The one thing that struck me about the early 90’s was they always seemed to get the theme tunes right for the character.
Excellent idea for a thread. I concur with others, the music was vital to the WWF.

Time to take a trip to the batcave humanoids!Self explanatory one here... Poor Mike Shaw. I could put out a better and more fitting entrance theme if you put a sound recorder near my ass when I am sleeping.

Time to take a trip to the batcave humanoids!Self explanatory one here... Poor Mike Shaw. For some reason, it sounds like it's being played at the wrong speed. Weird.

To me the definitive Hot Rod theme The best Piper theme. I hated that they didn’t use this in his post WCW appearances. I always found the new theme jarring and hoped they’d bring this one back.

Feuds with Rude,Flair and Bret, WM V return, Winning the IC belt.

To go from his iconic WWF theme to this in WCW. Ughhh terrible. Another strike on his overall wasted run there.

I’m risking being banned from commenting on this thread but........
I liked Bastion Booger’s theme. It falls in to the category of its so awful it’s good. Possibly the one saving grace of the awful gimmick.
And Bret’s theme was quite catchy but will concede it certainly didn’t fit the hottest wrestler at the time. It sounds more like it would be a mid 90’s lower card bland face wrestler’s theme.
