As soon the Final Three are in the ring (Cena, Sheamus, Ryback), JBL in all seriousness says “this is something you’ll tell your grandkids about!”. I haven’t stopped laughing, I ran here to see if anyone remembers if people broke JBLs balls about that back then?
Also, what are some other ridiculous lines you’ve heard announcers say over the years?

I love that he actually swears to god to second time around. Makes it that much funnier to me.

Technically he wasn't wrong.
"Grand kids, for back in 2013 we witnessed the WORSE final 3 you could imagine for a Royal Rumble match. The winner was John Cena which was even worse!"
So yes, I suppose he was right, it could easily be talked about years later Ha ha ha

Schiavone at SSlam 89 when Warrior hits Rude with the belt on the floor he's like ''it's outside the ring so it can just be a count out'' Ventura being outraged about is gold. It shouldve been a DQ! Around 5:20.

One of only 3 Rumbles I don't own on DVD, made it a point not to. Remember debating someone quite civilly (a notion unheard of, I know lol) about how much this event failed in its potential before my days here. Saying how absurd it was for the Punk-Rock ending and the final three in the Rumble match being three faces the live audience were likely to boo, when the winner (*spoiler* Cena *spoiler*)had been largely expected beforehand.
To think having the Shield involved in a match that would have harmed the person they were allegedly trying to help (that didn't even matter in the end anyway), but then not doing a run-in to pop the crowd during that final three segment, especially knowing the six-man tag that was set up for the following PPV.

Around 5:20. Yeah, that's a good one. I loved how Jesse called him out on it right away. I would also bring up the way he says "he picked him up" when Hogan slams Zeus. The way Schiavone says it makes it seem like that is the most impossible thing in the world, for Hogan to body slam Zeus, even though we all saw Hogan slam Andre who was listed at about 200+ pounds heavier. Schiavone didn't have a good night that night.

He was all over the place, he flipped back and forth between babyface announcer and heel announcer.

I remember that. Was that on the KOTR PPV during Rock vs. Shamrock or the Raw before the KOTR??

I love that he actually swears to god to second time around. Makes it that much funnier to me. Taker/Batista is the most underrated match in Mania history. Honestly I love this call because it makes Batista coming from the top feel special, which is lost in the age of triple flips.

In hindsight I still wish Ryback would have won. I hate the second Rock/Cena match with a passion. Punk should beaten Rock and Ryback should have won the Rumble so we could get a real payoff to Ryback getting screwed at HIAC 2012.

At the time, the WWF was running three towns a night and on the smaller towns (town C) in front of about 500-1,000 fans in attendance they could have been the main event of that show. The line would have made more sense a few years earlier when Honky Tonk was the IC champion and main eventing the B town shows.

Great hand but come on.
