in terms of quality, that was a damn good Rumble match, like...no real dead spots, they didnt do the stupid "one guy eliminated 10 guys" thing. got a couple of nice surprises with Priest and Carlito.
i honestly didnt expect Edge to win at all. good for him though, to have that amazing comeback, and then get cut short because of a freak injury, this is a great redemption story for the guy and he deserves it.
but now i wonder is he gonna switch shows and go after Roman? because I can't see how they get to Edge vs Drew with any reasonable outcome.

I wasn’t talking about the rumble in general. I was talking about main event spots that the future needs to have instead of Vince and his stupid mantra of “Everyone loves the old guys”. How can you bulid a company around skeletons instead of the fresh flesh? Ah but like cmon, Edge is an exception lol we thought he’d never wrestle again for almost 10 years so we should soak in every moment we have with him Nah. I soaked in it last year. Then realized during Mania and Backlash that the WWE should be pushing the future, not the past. |

Gotta be honest I have zero problem with a heel Roman vs Edge world title main event i honestly think that edge will challenge roman and then lose to him as another "passing the torch" to him |

You’ve got a locker room bursting with talent that could have used the Rumble spot to elevate their career. Edge is at the point of his career where he can be given a title match just like that and no one would question it. Look at Orton last year. Attacked McIntyre after a match then got a title match at Summerslam, and several more just because. While I’m no fan of the outcome, I’ll wait and see where they go from here.

Big E, Riddle, Styles, Bryan...anyone else in this match?
I love Edge but this was just ridiculous. I guess with Taker and other guys from that era finally calling it quits, now Vince will continue to not push younger guys by relying on old stars from the Ruthless Aggression era rather than the Attitude Era.

The best part of the Men’s Rumble March was the Hurricane. I will say I wished Miz and Morrison ducked as the bunny 🐰 came off the top rope. That might have paid back half the 5 minutes that was stolen from me. lol

Maybe Edge turns heel for a feud with Drew. Don't care to see him in a Spear v Spear with Reigns. Let Da Big Dawg have 'Berg or Rollins as his chewtoy. Bryan would be a decent story too but don't want none of that.

My thoughts are all over the place, but nobody reads this, so here....
I'm so happy for Christian. He looked good. I marked.
Besides the botched finish to the LMS match, it was fun. Owens should have hit Roman a time or two to reset the count. Wish they didn't just go directly to the finish.
Belair & Rhea are both mega stars in the making.
Carlito looked like Lashley out there. Put the apples down and eat a sandwich.
Riddle & Priest both looked good.
Shame Mia got sick, cause I think Lee would have been great in the Rumble.
Lack of a crowd did bother me during the actual Rumble matches.
Rollins vs Bryan at WM?
Billie was cracking me up.
Bad Bunny was there too.
Happy to see Victoria.
I could have lived without the 24/7 stuff in the middle of the women's RR.

So glad Drew won. As I said never been more nervous.
Glad Orton didn't. They played that well.
Glad Bliss didn't either. I'm not liking her as of late.
Their Women's division is stacked.

I feel like WWE and/or Vince are too hung up on stats. They seem really concerned with making sure certain stars get X amount of wins or titles or whatever so they can all be stacked up for all-time rankings.
Edge winning is cool, and its way better than Orton, but it feels a bit like them giving him a second win and a win from slot number one so it would be special and an all-time accomplishment. Like they're trying to manufacture epicness and then telling us it's epic.
Anyway, I don't want to sound like I didn't like it, because I was entertained pretty much all night. This was just a thought that occurred to me.

Such a predictable winner in Edge,totally fine with it if the go the route of Reigns Vs Edge but it was clear as day Edge was winning just like Beliar.Once Edge had the promo on RAW that sealed the deal.
Decent Rumble but loved seeing Carlito back in in great shape,looking jacked baby and hadn't lost a step.While Christian returning nearly brought me to tears.He look great as well and while he and Edge or both 47 both looked great physically and both can still go in the ring.Really hope this just isn't a one off for Christian and we at least get to see another Edge & Christian tag team bout and Christian wrestling "ONE MORE MATCH" in a singles outing.
If we get Reigns/Edge at Mania maybe go with Jey/Christian as a match up as well.

In principle I didn't enjoy the 24/7 stuff in the women's rumble because it takes the focus off the women, but then Alicia Fox got her spot in it and it turned out pretty darn funny, so I'll let it slide. Not gonna lie, I was a little heartbroken no Black. He's one of my favourites in the whole company. Titles aren't everything, but gotta at least get him in a relevant story where he can have great matches. That feud they dropped with Murphy could have led to some absolutely jaw dropping classics. |
