When the pandemic started I was bored and filled time with eBay. Right now I’m about 15 issues shy of completing the 84-03 run of the original WWF magazine. WOW! That's impressive. I still have most of the WWF magazines from when I was a kid (1991-1995). I went back a few years ago to complete the set from 1987-1997 but, I found a lot of people asking for way more than I think they are worth. I was only able to get a handful or two. Still thinking about completing the sets from the years above, but, I'm not in a rush.

Still thinking about completing the sets from the years above, but, I'm not in a rush. When I started out there were a bunch of auctions for 6 month chunks or even full years for pretty reasonable prices. As things dragged on in 2020 just like with certain figures, prices started getting a bit out of hand. I knew going in the 84-87s would probably be pricey, but I’ve been lucky. The only issue where I truly felt like I overpaid was for issue #1, but I will admit it was in pristine condition. With the ones I have left I’ve gotten a bit pickier with prices and will wait for the right deal.

I don’t have that particular one. I have the 1991 version that was purchased at a discount book store back in the mid-90s. Decent for what it was with profiles of the roster and a general overview of WWF events, tours, and merchandise.

I collected from 1990 all the way until sometime in 2004/2005. I loved the WWF Magazine when I was a kid, even more so when they went to RAW Magazine as well. You had the WWF Magazine that followed the storylines and then the RAW Magazine that was behind the scene. THe WWF Magazine lost its appeal for me when they switched to Smackdown and RAW Magazines and they both tried to keep the storylines going. It was like they started treating me like an idiot after RAW Magazine had been behind the scenes and more edgy for nearly a decade. I honestly think I was buying them out of habit for at least a year before I said enough was enough.
PowerSlam Magazine was also a huge deal for me, I loved this magazine, but again I ended up stopping getting that. This magazine used to have awesome backstage info and post results from house shows and have great interviews and stuff. However, the magazine turned me off when it started this very aggressive anti John Cena campaign that seemed to find its way into the majority of articles that were in the magazine.
Another one that I always enjoyed was called WOW Magazine. This was available around the Attitide Era and had WWF, WCW and ECW stuff in it and it was always a lot of fun, I do not think this magazine lasted all that long though.

This was the first wrestling magazine I ever bought. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/prowrestling/images/8/89/WWE_Magazine_May_1998_Issue.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20100520110306 For anyone feeling nostalgic, Inside The Ropes launched a new wrestling magazine a few months back. Issue 5 is out on 25th January. Its very similar to Power Slam.

Man, oh man. If Carson's Pro Wrestling World in Allentown, PA was still open you guys would have a field day!
I'm pretty sure he still sells stuff on 3bay.

Speaking of all wrestling stores, One I miss is Bulldozers Collectables at the Berlin NJ farmers market.Dude had an awesome vintage wrestling store with mags, figs, VHS tapes, posters etc.Used to go there a few times a month. Big reason why I got back into collecting in 2016. I remember one time I walk in there and who do I see sitting near the counter? Kevin Sullivan. It was cool to BS with em for a few minutes. But yeah great store. Shame he had go out of biz a few years ago.

I loved the blood soaked NWA cover photos as a kid. Flair just bleeding like crazy always drew me in as a holy crap moment.

Anyone with old Apter style magazines, I am looking for an obscure wrestling ring company ad from maybe 1989 or 1990. It was inside the magazine and featured drawings of Don Muraco and I think John Studd with a LJN ring drawing a few names of guys they had for sale. I had one of those magazines recently and then sold the collection but didn't have time to search through it to find. Man, oh man. If Carson's Pro Wrestling World in Allentown, PA was still open you guys would have a field day! I'm pretty sure he still sells stuff on 3bay. Bud is one of the most honest men I've ever met. He is literally a wrestling version of "Gold & Silver Pawn Shop" but Bud doesn't act a certain way for the cameras. I've been to his store a few times when doing shows with Jimmy Valiant and Nikolai Volkoff. His wall of autographs and memorabilia was amazing. He had a John Studd and Andre the Giant signed paper (each on one paper) with a photo of each man that I probably looked at dozens of times in one afternoon each trip I made. I remember one time I walk in there and who do I see sitting near the counter? Kevin Sullivan. It was cool to BS with em for a few minutes. But yeah great store. Shame he had go out of biz a few years ago. Matt was tight with Kevin Sullivan and Shane Douglas for a few years and maybe still is. He had both guys at least twice at his flea market store. Matt is a great guy. I was at his store twice with Nikolai and to one of his wrestling shows that Nikolai, Shane and Kevin were at.
