Surely Anna Jay needs to be the new leader of the Dark Order.
I'm listening to her TIJ interview and it's clear she was Brodie's chosen one, and during the BTE skits they've always presented her as the bitchy straight "man" even before Brodie was there. The story writes itself with her being a gorgeous woman who has all these pathetic men wanting to do her bidding.

I'd be into it, but if the Dark Order continues I don't think there should be a new leader. I like the idea of these misfits & outcasts working together to achieve their goals.
I'm cool if someone already in the group takes over (like Anna, Uno, or Colt), but it'd be really hard for someone to organically take over for Brodie. That story was told and I don't really need a continuation. I'd be more interested in how they move forward without their leader.

Anna Jay is absolutely the future of the women's division in this company. But I agree with lm here. No need for a new 'leader'. That's not their story anymore. They'll all have moments where they lead, her included (good luck stooooo) but no real leader. 2021 gonna be the year of the dark order, but as a true collective, not a hierarchical organization like it used to be.

Personally I'd take it in the opposite direction and give them a face run. Have Hangman join and buy the rights so they can play the Full House theme song during backstage segments.
Is that the right decision? Probably not. Would it entertain me immensely for the time being until they figure something else out? Yes.

They're absolutely, 100%, definitely going to be a babyface faction for the foreseeable future.

The story writes itself with her being a gorgeous woman who has all these pathetic men wanting to do her bidding. That & the fact that we see her sitting in the background & above the other members of the Dark Order in their lair in most of the BTE skits as she watches on with Johnny, Uno & the rest all participating in their weekly childish antics, watching on in either amusement, disgust or just simply corpsing to the stupidity/brilliance of one Johnny Silva. I kind of agree with you on this but at the same time, i don't think the fans would accept a new enlightened one/leader, no one could fill Brodies' shoes, well not at the moment atleast, it's too soon.. I think for now they should probably just treat each other as equals (except Silva, he's the brunt of everyone's jokes), band together as a group like they always have. I'm just hoping the Dark Order will stick around for a long while & not go anywhere, seeing as how Brodie is no longer with us, it kind of threw a wrench in their plans seeing as he was a big part of the faction giving them direction. Without him leading the team, i just hope they can recover & find a way to move forward. To me, they are one of the reasons i tune in to AEW each week. Seeing as how they are probably one of the popular acts in AEW right now with their BTE fanbase, do you still see them sticking around at the end of 2021 and into 2022?

Listened to Anna Jay on TIJ. She talked about hoping to do more stuff with Conti (Still in the Dark Order of course), they didn't talk about the hangman stuff because that plan is obviously a secret. Definitely concluded that they couldn't imagine the Dark Order going back to being heels, just wouldn't work with Brodie's legacy now. So the babyface run is happening. We all knew that, but was still nice to hear. No plans on it ending, and I don't think there are really any plans for a future leader. None of them really know where its going to go, but they'll be faces and together.
Also I knew her and Preston had dated (She didn't mention that on the show), but he and Angels were both at the same wrestling school (QT's) as her. They'd just been there longer.

Honestly, I think this girl has potential, but it's unlikely she will reach the heights everyone thinks she will. This is by no means an insult, as this is the common ending for most prodigies. She has instincts that many of the female talents in AEW lack, but I really wish they would have brought her into a TV role later-on.
Personally, go with the fans' responses; Silver leads the Dark Order.
