Newest crate really only has two options for a brawler unless we get a repeat. So here’s to a Candido or Buddy Matthews brawler.

Newest crate really only has two options for a brawler unless we get a repeat. So here’s to a Candido or Buddy Matthews brawler. Candido seems like the best guess to me. He'd fit in with the ECW brawlers they've been doing. Murphy seems like it's still a little too recent since his release to be in Brawler form? I wouldn't mind another Piper. He was never a Crate Brawler, and not a lot of people have it. Not apples to apples, but it would be somewhat similar to the Hero Brawler that they did a color variation on for the Crate. |

IIRC, it came out around the same time as the Limited Edition Nash Brawler, which is exactly the dame as the one in that video with a different paint scheme. |

 This was one of the most disappointing Crates in a while for me, both in item selection and execution. -Hangman Ghost Rider shirt: As I’ve said before, I love pop culture crossover wrestling shirts, especially with comics, so I should love this (and it is probably my second favorite item in the crate) but it loses points because it took my like a minute to realize it was supposed to be Hangman. -Nasty Boys shirt: The design is fine I guess, but I have zero interest in a Nasty Boys shirt. -Konnan Brawler: In theory, I love the idea of a Konnan Brawler, but in execution it’s severely lacking. I don’t expect great lifelike likenesses from Brawlers, it nothing about this even remotely reminds me of Konnan. My wife asked me why they sent a Walter White Brawler. -The Animal drawstring bag is cool, probably my favorite item of the crate, but a drawstring bag being the best item is an issue. -The Dude Love sticker is fine, but a meh item. -The Dusty pin is cool, and I love the idea of the Bionic Elbow on its own spring. That said, using a Dusty slot on a pin seems like a waste. -Gallows is a fine autograph. All-in-all, a let down for sure. Next month’s lineup is killer on paper, so hopefully it delivers. |

This set is disappointing -- if I was offered all this for free, I'd turn it down. (And I have a few shirts from crates and wear them -- so I'm not trying to be hateful).

Had a subscription for 18 months.
Kept all the shirts and brawlers.
Paid $703 total.
Sold everything else in 3 lots and got $200.
So for $500 I have 18 common brawlers and 36 black tshirts. Oof.
I’ll pick up the IRS brawler in April and K-dogg in May.

Yeah I guess it depends what you do with the shirts and how much you wear them etc. Even discounting the brawlers and ignoring they exist 36 shirts at $500 = aprox $13 a shirt which for a decent quality shirt even if you don’t wear them “out” but only around the house, doing garden / yard work, working out in etc etc isn’t bad. I’d guess maybe 80% to 90% of the cost of putting together the box(ignoring shipping, the box itself etc) is the shirts and brawlers. The 8x10s and then trinklets are going to be next to nothing I’d think? |

I didn't hate this crate, but it could have been better. The shirts are fine, but they're really going overkill with black shirts. I'm happy to get a Konnan figure, but it took me a minute to recognize who it was. I'm not a Gallows fan, so the auto is sort of meh for me.
But overall I can't complain about the value of the crates. It's a fun surprise every month, and there's always something I can get legitimate use out of. If you're looking at straight value, these things are never going to be straight up ROI. But I can definitely say I've spent more money on things that I got far less use or enjoyment out of.

It's the facial hair that throws off that Konnan...He never had a full goatee/beard like that.

Possibly a candido brawler? I don’t see it being the miscellaneous item or obv not an 8x10. Maybe a pin badge or shirt I guess?

I would imagine Candido is a shirt if that Nash Wolfpac Brawler proves accurate. If we get Konnan and Nash back to back, I wonder if we might get a few months of Wolfpack Brawlers? Presumably Luger, Sting, and Macho are still all available to them and the philosophy on repaints seems to be changing. |
