Thoughts on this month’s crate for me:
-Punk shirt is the star item for me. Not only is Punk an all-time favorite of mine (so I’ll always welcome a new Punk shirt to go with my others) but I actually like this design, so much that I would buy if it was a normal shirt. Considering the fact that the Crate costs less altogether than it does for me to buy one shirt, it’s already a win.
-MJF shirt is kind of in the middle for me. It’s not one my favorites, but it’s also not a shirt I’d relegate to only work out/pajama use.
-I like the concept of the Nash/Shredder Brawler, but meh on the execution. First time the Chase has been MUCH better than the original. Sidenote, I open them so I don’t care, but I feel bad for MOC brawler collectors. Every month the package is creased in the same place it seems.
-The Piper keychain is cool. Hope they do more of those. Better than Kazoos or other nonsense.
-The comic is fine.
-No interest in the Repo pin.
-Malenko is cool for an autograph.

I’ve been thinking about how we can get more transparency in the figure community mainly from Mattel, Jazwares, and a bit from PWT. The problem is once anyone uses that verbiage they sound like a politician. The best way to get transparency is from no holds barred q&a’s with collectors not prerecorded,predetermined softballs. |

I’ve been thinking about how we can get more transparency in the figure community mainly from Mattel, Jazwares, and a bit from PWT. The problem is once anyone uses that verbiage they sound like a politician. The best way to get transparency is from no holds barred q&a’s with collectors not prerecorded,predetermined softballs. I dunno why, but this reminded me of the Major Pod interview with the Boss Fight guy. They were going on about how transparent he was in the interview, and he was to a certain extent. Except, they completely overlooked the fact that they weren't transparent until after the figures were coming out. Not during the multiple delays that lasted over a year when people were asking questions that went unanswered. |

The brawler, keychain, and auto were spoiled for me before I got the crate...I swear it's impossible to avoid, especially when it takes a few days extra to get to Canada. Oh well...
I cancelled next month's crate because I have little to no interest in any of the people included.

I think the MajorPod crate will show up at some point in the next 45days unannounced which will get more buzz. PWT does give a price incentive for purchasing 12 months of Crates (23.95 instead of 29.95)but they should also have a physical incentive like if you got all 12 in 2021 you get a special Microbrawler in December to prevent people from skipping months. So, if in any calendar year you can skip out on 3 Crates you’re better off going month to month, *that is if you don’t flip anything.* 3 crates at the 12month subscription price +shipping is $95.70. Can you cherry-pick stuff in your 12 crates to flip and make back what you save going month to month and skipping 3 crates? Yes. Also, if you skip out on a Crate and wind up getting itchy for the Microbrawler you missed then there was no point going month to month. However if you ever pull a Chase Microbrawler you’re golden! 2020 only had 2 crate Microbrawlers worth skipping out on IMO El Generico and Chris Hero. The other 10 were WWE Legends (Hitman, Kamala, Hacksaw, Dreamer, HTM, Boogeyman, Koko, Tatanka) and The MajorPod STOMP’s. If I had to skip a third it would have been Boogeyman. Like I’ve said a few pages ago, if you’re only interested in the Crate Microbrawler’s then buy off the secondary market at least one crate behind. |

Some quick notes about the MajorPod crate that’s coming soon. On the podcast they did with Eamonn on 3/27 Matt mentions the box may come within another box to protect it but did not want to be quoted on that. He said the crate will have some fluff just like all crates do but it’s MajorPod fluff, I don’t think that should be a surprise to anyone. Also the two Microbrawlers in the crate the original with the variant and the second one that was added as an reward plus one day of ordering by Ryan a PWT will be housed on MajorPod carding (as well as the FWF brawler). Both the Brawlers coming in the crate were made to order with no extras being made...oh and on today’s MajorPod it was mentioned that the monthly exclusive shirts that are on Collar&elbow for one month only! will now always be available...

Chase IRS could be briefcase variant.
May crate looks promising.
Looks like PWT does multi item merch deals with talent or their estate. So if one month your favorite star only got a keychain or pin the Microbrawler or shirt could be coming in a future crate.

Yeah, most of the gimmick stuff I have is thrown in a box. But I appreciate the semi-functional stuff. The Warhorse ruler has been useful once or twice. And I always end up misplacing my desktop calculator, so a backup couldn't hurt. |
