MJF may as well have held a big sign over Jericho's head that says "GETTING KICKED OUT" in the promo hyping up the War Council or whatever. Wouldn't shock me if they're writing Jericho off so he can go do more dad rock superspreaders with Fozzy. You still worried about Covid lol? Yes. Enough said.

Who will be out longer, Mox or Jericho?
And who is next for Omega? If they drop Hardy as of right now, it can be Hangman, but I think he's not done with Hardy yet.

I think it's going to be awhile for Hangman/Omega. I think Omega is going to have a mini-feud with Eddie Kingston for a few weeks, and then probably some guys from Impact if that's still going on.

Do we think Jericho will be written off then return as a babyface? It feels too soon, but tune in Wednesday night to find out.

There's a chance that Hangman will challenge Omega and lose at some point before taking the strap, if that is indeed what happens.
"Double or Nothing" would be a literal condition; but, what would be the nothing?

I think the main event of Double or Nothing is Bucks/FTR 2 I'm ok with Hangman pursuing for a while, but I don't think this roster has enough credible main event opponents for Omega to stretch that out for a year.

I’m curious what Mox does once he does return (the ending gave the feeling he’ll get some time off for a bit). Does he go after Omega again? Character-wise, he doesn’t seem to be someone that would just let this go after getting screwed again. But we know Kenny needs to move on so I’m kinda stuck as to where Mox moves next.

I think it's hangman at all out, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him win it on the first try. I think the dark order situation changed things and they may speed up his story to take the title because of it.
If Jericho does become a face as a result of getting booted from the inner circle, Jericho/Omega is an obvious match to do again. Wouldn't surprise me to see Kingston/Omega at double or nothing this year either.
I mean as far as credible or semi credible main event challengers besides those guys and Mox, we're left with:
Cage, Archer, mjf, anyone from death triangle. Hager I guess? Christian, and maybe Miro if they continue to build this violent psychopath like they did on Sunday.
More will come eventually of course, but right now I think that's the list, and not all of those really pose a threat to actually win the damned thing

But I agree AEW seems short on top babyfaces right now for Omega to work with.

I don’t know what they’re going to do with Omega and the title now, but I really hope Christian doesn’t get it, or even a shot at it. Nothing against Christian, but he really isn’t a world championship talent. If I’m honest he worked as TNA champion because TNA/Impact always seemed below WWE. AEW feels like something completely different, but too many old timers will jeopardize that. In my opinion Christian needs to be introduced properly. The way to do that is either with or against Jericho. Ideally I’d have one last tag match to drag out Jericho’s ousting a little longer: Christian and Sammy vs Jericho and MJF. After Jericho loses, the Inner Circle destroys him so he can do his concerts for awhile. I see great possibilities in MJF going over Christian too. Only problem, Christian probably didn’t sign and potentially burn a bridge just to be a jobber to the stars, so we’ll see.
As for Omega, if Darby loses the TNT title I can absolutely see him in a program with Kenny. I also feel like Cody will find his way back to the title picture even though he said he’d never fight for it again.
Final question- does anyone else see John Silver eventually taking the TNT title in a very emotional moment as an ode to Brodie Lee? He’s really had a coming out party lately, and it just seems like poetic justice. Also, no offense to Reynolds, but he isn’t nearly as charismatic. I see Silver with the TNT title before I see Silver/Reynolds with the tag belts.

I have a different opinion so I'm a troll...................................... Nah, your a troll for continually calling TK a POS for giving us a cinematic match rather than risk Stings health in a live match. The WWE haven’t told us that their matches were going to be cinematic (the Fiend/Cena Firefly Funhouse match was built to be an actual match for weeks), so I don’t see the problem here when the match still included a ring and fans seemed to enjoy it for the most part. Okay. Let's try it this way. Tony Khan isn't a POS for having a cinematic match, he's a POS for not advertising it as a cinematic match. See the difference? As a consumer it would have been nice to have that detail, especially when it pertains to a match I was really interested in seeing. Match, not movie. We were watching AEW not WWE. I have higher standards/hopes for Tony Khan than I do Vince McMahon. Most of us do. Except it had already come out that it was going to be cinematic. The lead up to Sting/Allin - Cage/Starks was Sting getting physical in the ring. He didn't look like an old man who needed a cinematic match to take care of him. He looked like someone who could do a traditional backstage brawl and take a few bumps as Darby Allin does the majority of the work. That's was the build, they said they were having a street fight, and they didn't say it was going to be a cinematic match and there was no word of it being one......... And then it was a cinematic match. Can't explain it any clearer than that. Onward to Wednesday.

I'm not sure why there's a mentality that there aren't enough credible challengers for Omega to buy time before Hangman takes the strap. We still have babyface Lance Archer, PAC, a mini feud with Eddie Kingston, post-TNT Darby Allin, and now Christian as well, and that's off the top of my head. Granted, nearly all of these men already lost against mid-card champion Cody Rhodes or kenny himself, which doesn't help the situation, but I think all of them have room for damage control if paced well

final bomb was a bit lackluster, especially considering the hype up until detonation, but the match itself was brutal. overall, this was one of my favorite ppv's from top to bottom in a LONG LONG time.
