One of my friends told me that the only Hogan mattel has coming this year is the UE coming in Summer. This is just mind baffling. I understand that mattel needs to appease everyone's taste and I honestly hope everyone gets the figures they want and desire but when the big reveal last week is Chelsea Green while the biggest icon in the business sits on the shelf one has to wonder what the problem is. I mean Hulk Hogan was one of the top sellers on wwe shop last year but we can't get more than one figure a year and the odds are that it's WCW themed? Again I love me some WCW but where is Wrestlemania 8 with the American flag on the shirt and red bandana?? Where is multiple versions of Hollywood Hogan such as the "terminator" shirt and 2002 WWE version? Where is the mega powers? Where is mid 80's Hulk Hogan for the people that missed out on defining moments? Where is Hulk Still Rules? Where are all the elites? I just don't understand what's going on. Again, I have no problem with the Chelsea Green figure but where is the icon?  |

You think inserting Chelsea Green into a basic series has any effect on Hogan figures? I can’t for the life of me understand why people are so over the top about this.
It was an interview on a podcast where they revealed one single figure for the guy she’s going to be married to. If it wasn’t for that there would have been no news. Odds are any new Hogan reveals would happen at a big reveal show.

I’m sure there’s gonna be more hulk hogan figures this year, we don’t even know about a lot of the elite figures past series 86 yet

Just even with what we know there is the Amazon exclusive ultimate Hogan, there is a Hulk Hogan place holder assigned for the regular ultimate line and there was a legends Hogan that I’m sure will end up somewhere after being bumped from the Legends 10 line.

AFA (action figure attack) already stated in your "Hogan being left out of Legends 10 is just shocking" thread that you should soon be satisfied with your Hogan collection. In case you don't know, he works for Mattel so he should know more that one of your friends.
It's the end of January - we still have 11 months of figures being released/announcements, which include the rest of the main line Elites, elite 2-packs, already announced Amazon Ultimate Edition and another rumored UE edition, SDCC exclusives, Ringside exclusives, Wrestlemania Elites that RSC usually gets in Oct/Nov, and all of the various basic lines and chases. This doesn't even include the potential for new exclusive lines/releases that haven't been announced yet.
My own personal speculation excluding the announced/rumored UE:
1. The SDCC exclusive will be Hogan related
2. We will see the Mega Powers (2-pack or single releases) this year, especially after Liz
3. Legends 11 or 12 lineup
4. Wrestlemania line-up for next yr

He’s a household name, I don’t think Mattel would be this dumb to postpone all the Hogan attires we want. I’m particularly fine with the Ultimate Hogan because that’s the version I wanted, but I do understand that others want different attires. I’m sure we’ll get them.
