Edge comes to the ring and explains how in 2011 he never lost the world title and wants McIntyre and the strap, and has a right to it all after winning the Rumble. McIntyre comes out and says he accepts, wanting Edge at WM as well. Edge says that while he, as aforementioned, wants McIntyre, he also wants Orton because of their history, great battles last year, and battle last night. Orton says he wants Edge just as bad but is also currently engaged in a war with The Fiend. Over time the intertwined combatants known as Orton and Fiend win separate matches to earn a right to go to WM, and we end up with a huge fatal four way for the WWE Title: McIntyre vs. Edge vs. Fiend vs. Orton. Your thoughts?

The issue with an Edge victory is that while it was a feel-good story, similar to his 2010 return, the intrigue isn't quite there with me in either World Title picture right now. Reigns has a few options so leave him to his work. McIntyre is the better option of the two but he just came off putting out a legend, so it'd be giving him another one. I would love to see Edge take up a heel role for this.
Of course, Miz can always cash in. That could give us a Miz/Morrison vs. E&C at an upcoming event, then Miz uses MITB to win the World Title to set up the matchup, with Christian and Morrison in their representative corners.

Wouldnβt be bad idea; because I think it would tie in past year of stories. Part of me wants to see Edge Vs. Reigns though; but I like this 4way idea. It just needs to be built up; and have actual storytelling instead of WWE just puzzling in 2 weeks before Mania

I thought we could see Fiend, Orton, Edge in a triple threat at Mania, I think Orton will capture the belt between now and Mania, Edge cashes in for a match at Wrestlemania The Fiend returns a few weeks before, and is inserted into the match.

I don't want see a Fatal Four Way Match for the WWE Championship. Randy Orton doesn't need to be a title match again, The Fiend doesn't need a title to be over and should be used as special attraction.
The Miz shouldn't be near the World Title picture with a his lame comedy with Morrison and when he cashes in the briefcase he is going to loose the match.
Roman Reigns Vs. Edge for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania Spear vs. Spear The Current SmackDown leader vs. The SmackDown Legend

Randy Orton vs The Fiend needs to be kept as a singles feud, period. Whilst I'd liked to have seen Fiend play some sort of mind games (ala Undertaker to Kane, 2004 Rumble) to distract Orton and lead to his elimination, I think it it at least closed the book on Orton vs Edge. It definitely doesn't need to be revolved around the Title, there's enough intrigue alone in having the Fiend's return at Wrestlemania following getting set on fire. It also makes no sense to have Drew go over Goldberg clean, only to lose the Belt a month before Wrestlemania. They're going to give him his crowning moment to make up for last year, and for carrying the Title for the past year more or less. It's just a matter of who he faces.
I said in a previous thread that I feel like Drew McIntyre could defend in some sort of Triple Threat or Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship though. It just feels like his situation is a bit of an afterthought, and there's no real stand out fresh challenger right now, so it may end up just being a combination of upper mid-card talent. Either that, or they go the opposite way, with since he's already beaten Goldberg and Brock Lesnar clean, they add John Cena to that list.
I do feel like Roman Reigns vs Edge bodes better on paper at this point, especially with the Spear vs Spear situation, Roman being a clear heel, and they can use Christian to some extent to help continue playing off of the whole family and friends angle. Part of me does worry though that come Wrestlemania, the fans may have soured on the idea of a near 50 year old Edge being used in this spot, and because Roman's doing such a good job, end up taking his side. This is why I felt Daniel Bryan may have been the better option, as Roman quashing the clear face Yes movement at Wrestlemania would help cement his heel status. Edge vs Christian could have just been a high profile grudge match if he hadn't have won the Rumble.
The only other factor though is the Miz. He's definitely not cashing in on Roman Reigns, which leaves Drew, and I can't see the point in him being involved if there's a Drew vs John Cena 'Mega Match'. Would make more sense for him to be involved if it was Drew vs Edge, or some form of multi-man Match.
I think this would be the cleanest route at this point though;
Universal Championship Roman Reigns vs Edge
The Fiend vs Randy Orton
WWE Championship Drew McIntyre vs John Cena
The rest is still largely undecided.

I have zero interest in seeing Orton (at this point in his career) or the Fiend wrestle.
Easy pass.

Itβs an overcomplicated story to get to an unnecessary match.
Itβs a no from me.
