Bringing this concept over from WWE Board. WWE rumors circulating of upcoming spring cleaning, already with Lars being granted his release and Cutler getting best of lucked. Hearing Aleister Black and others may be in the mix to be released.
Before we start calling any guys to AEW, most need to be destined for the Indys. RoH and MLW and Impact, repackage and get over. Also AEW is loading with talent that really just needs to flesh out their stories right now. However who is that “1” guy that if he came available that they should absolutely jump on.
For me it’s Aleister Black. Dude has all the tools to be a huge star, and it happened in NXT but he fell victim to Vince and the main roster. Reunite him with a manage in Zelina, his wife. Dude could be a huge face or heel. They can’t let that guy go anywhere if WWE cuts him.

He's crazy talented, and Vince just has no idea what to do with him. I'd be happy to see him end up in AEW or Impact.

I’d be great to have Tommy End and Ricochet back, but I’m torn between El Generico and Kevin Steen. I’d love to have both back.

Honestly I can't see anyone interesting being on the chopping block. They know who AEW will or won't be interested in, and I think they'll steer clear of the list that might end up on tv in 90 days. It's going to be Bo Dallas, Wesley Blake, Fandango types who are good hands but probably are at or near their ceiling.
With that said, I'd love to see Ricochet free and clear.

Black would be my top choice and its not close and like others have said please give him a new name, Tommy End just doesn't sound great.
