He’s a great plunder wrestler and has good chemistry with Darby. I’m not a fan. Short, fat, doesn’t look like a wrestler, and don’t think he’s a good worker. Jim Cornette is right what he says about him. |

starting off hot with Darby's match. almost feels strange for there to be no Darby and Sting/Team Taz mid card argument
that front suplex onto the apron was nasty looking

Jelly actually looks good, did he cut some weight? Also Darby looks a little bulkier. Impressed by both guys so far.

One thing I like about AEW is the commentators may have the script or know what's going to happen, but it doesn't sound like they obviously do. Tony and JR are legends, so maybe that's all it is, but it's one of the reasons AEW feels like the wrestling many of us grew up watching.

I think Joey could improve in ring but that goes for most of their young talent
what he is, is a performer. he has the charisma that NXT would love to be able to teach.
