It’s crazy to see the line grow overtime. I still remember seeing the first Mattel figures at Toysrus in January 2010. But; they also had huge clearance on Jakks figures. And I should of grabbed them; my Toysrus was loaded.
I started collecting in 2008; so I mainly had Jakks figures from 06-09. But; it’s cool to say I been with Mattel since day 1. A lot of the first gear scans weren’t that great if I’m being truthful.
However; as kid seeing the first elite line come with entrance gear. Entrance greats; legends line; defining moments; it was the dream as a kid. I always would make clothing for my wrestlers as kid. So seeing us get clothing was a big deal.
The lines improved so much; even though I do think the Basics have taken huge dip in quality. And I do think like any line Mattel does mess up pretty big.
But; I think we are blessed with line this good and this close to the fans wants. And they’ve worked hard to get us lot of varied attires and eras of certain guys.
It’s cool to look at this and see the line grow overtime. Kinda scares me I stopped collecting in 2015-2018 for the most part; and trying to catch up and not get scalped on prices. Then I get scared thinking 2015 was 6 years ago.

This is awesome. Been looking for a website like this! Not as good on the mobile - but on my iPad it's great. Hope they keep updating some of the older ones. I like the Neca section too! All in on those TMNT figures!

Haha, me too! I never knew I wanted a Bandai Gundam robot until I saw them on this site! I went on the NECA page. Then the Super7. Now I'm sitting here in deep sadness over Turtles figures. The first line figures were my very first action figures ever, back when I was a wee child. Now I really want to start collecting the Ultimates. Luckily, the Ultimate's April is still available for pre-order right now. That blue stripe April was one of my greatest wants as a child. Never got her, ended up settling for the orange and yellow one (that's sitting on my shelf right now). I get paid again in a day or so, if I'm lucky, I'll be able to score one. About the wrestling figures, I see the site started in 2020. I really hope they can get caught up on the back stuff, and add basics. Ever since Toy Hollywood stopped updating I've had no good Line-By-Line pictorial database to go by. The "By the Numbers" thread on here is hecking useful, but sometimes I really want to see a listing of when each line was released with pictures of the figures. |

If you're looking for basics, elites, one-off lines, etc., we also have it: www.wrestlingfiguredatabase.com. I'll keep it Mattel focused since we're on that board, but we also have pretty much every other line you can think of too. |
