I guess I'll go with 2017, I really liked the HIAC spot they did.

Neither.
To be honest, I don't even remember the 2019 feud. I remember Shane turning on Miz, beating Miz, and that's all.

Shane is best when getting sympathy and jumping off stuff. They always make him go 50 50 with guys. Understandable with Miz but not Taker, AJ & Kevin. Or Kane going way back. His feuds with Blackman & Big Show were better. Cat vs mouse where leaps of faith were required to overcome the odds.

Babyface Shane vs Heel KO if only because it turned Sami and was the perfect storyline to lead to Bryan returning to the ring.
Though I still wish heel Shane won the WWE championship.

Absolutely despised the 2017 run. Ownens was clearly the face fighting against Shane and his managerial overreach and abuses, driven and supported by clear-cut nepotism. Could we have gotten Vince to have the two fight it out without him taking a side? Made all the sense in the world for it, but nah. Just run down Kev and take your precious little son's side. Didn't even get KO powerbombing Shane's old b*stard on the apron. Any real man would have taken that for the story. The WM 34 match, ugh. Bryan's big return to the ring, wasted in a tag with D-Bry laid out for two-thirds of it while a dude practically JUST OUT THE HOSPITAL WITH A LEGIT SERIOUS MEDICAL CONDITION toughed it out because two PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED WRESTLERS couldn't beat him down enough to win the d*mn match in a handicap scenario. And a chance for KO and Zayn to reemerge under masks as a fun little team after that, entirely ignored.
Hated the 2019 rivalry too. Heavily utilizing the gimmick from a Blood Money show. Hotshotted Shane's turn on the Miz to get a decent but not great Mania match. Somehow thought Shane and Vince working against WWE Champ Kofi Kingston wasn't good enough of a thing, because Da Big Dawg needed the heat more. Brought KO into the mix because they also hotshotted his doubleturn story with New Day, then bring him back face with an anti-authority, "no f's given" attitude, without rightfully acknowledging he was 100% CORRECT ABOUT SHANE THE WHOLE TIME. Only positive was Shane getting his bum a** written off (until recently, ugh).
In case you may not pick up on it, not the biggest Shane O'Mac fan lol
