How do we want the Mega Powers?

I think, realistically, an elite 2-pack is the way to go, with the colorful decorated box, accessories, the whole 9 yards. That would be my preference anyway.

I voted for Legends line only because we haven’t had a Hogan or Macho Man in that line yet and really want one of each. That line wouldn’t be right without two of the biggest legends in it.

I think an Ultimate Edition 2-pack will only be released if it is for SDCC and I don't want to pay $100 for it.

I voted for elite 2 pack - this seems like a pretty obvious release and probably one of the few tag teams that Mattel would consider released together besides maybe the Outsiders, LOD, and random thrown together tag teams consisting of main eventers/upper mid carders, which I personally hate when Vince does that (pretty much the whole Ruthless Aggression era). I could also see the elite 2 pack being the SDCC exclusive (that or WM Hogan/Mr. T with retro poster/VHS packaging) or RSC exclusive. Might be the reason why we haven't seen Mega Powers in any leaks.

I could see them being released in the Legends line to offset the robe (that we hopefully get) and accessory budget. It would piss off people/limit availability though. Liz was a main elite line release so it wouldn't make much sense to limit the sales of the Mega Powers, but the budget/spot availability might dictate that.

If not a two pack release, then I hope they are released in the main line for availability reasons and price, but then I doubt we'll get a robe.

Right, and who ever voted "Who are the Mega Powers? We don’t need them" needs to hop off the internet entirely and donate their wrasslin collection. 


The Mega Powers would look fuego in a 2 pack elite packaging.  

I don’t collect ultimate edition so any elite way they want. An elite 2 pack would probably be the best though

This is my most wanted addition to my collection and would be the centerpiece of my collection. It has to be done right. I want it to look exactly like the picture in the op.

Dear mattel design team, please make this 1988 mega powers. Not wcw 1995 or missing the robe or bandana etc. I want them to have golden tans with cool facial expressions too. I want to be able to order this on ringside just like mr t and piper set. I would buy two sets....one to open and one to keep in the box. It should have custom packaging like piper mr t.

It would be a beautiful set to have in stock at stores. I dont trust stores inventory anymore or scalpers scooping them all up. Casual fans still associate wrestling with hogan and Macho man so seeing them together in a well produced two pack would be attractive. As long as I can get one without too much trouble. I voted elite 2 pack online exclusive because i want this on rsc. But I think stores could stock it too. I just don't want it to be a target or walmart exclusive.

I don't really care how we get them, just make them. The lack of Hogans has been really frustrating since he became available again.

I'd love that Jesse ventura too. I could see him being an sdcc exclusive.

I'd prefer a 1/100 release that will be resold on Ebay for $5000 each.
