This concerns me as the line moves figures slower than the elites. With 2 figures per series I wonder how many wrestlers we can look forward to seeing before they ultimately end the line?

Well there’s an entire fan vote side of the line we haven’t seen yet. So there’s that. It’s HBK, Jeff Hardy, HHH, Hogan and Warrior I think so far. Then there’s series 9 with Austin and Flair.

They have to get some new characters into the mix or the line will die slowly.

They usually make quite a few of those in the Basic and Elite lines. Sting would’ve been such a layup. Fresh paint, worn paint, hands to do the howl, jacket arms...what could’ve been...

Spaced out at 3-4 series a year, plus the Amazon repaints, they could stretch the Ultimate line out a long time, especially since it seems to be selling well.

They should get as much wrestlers in as possible before they give us different variations of the same one.

Not getting an Ultimate surfer Sting is the thing I'm most upset about when it comes to him and his legends deal, honestly. The Legends 7 was nice and I would have loved to have it, but you described exactly what I wanted out of an Ultimate Sting.

I think the series is doing well. Rousey, Nakumara, and Balor are the only ones I recall that sat for any length of time on the Pegs. I don't know if the Cena wave ever made it into stores though. I know I never saw it. I agree with others though that I wish they added a few new ones to the line instead of already offering the same characters with different attires.

I just started collecting these so hopefully they run for a while as they are all I collect. Glad I caught up with all I want besides The Rock.
I’d love a Taker/Andre set next. I think there is plenty of gas left in the tank for this line especially at the rate they come out.
When is the Flair/Austin series scheduled for preorder?

The line will have legs as long as there is retail support. It certainly seems like they had to pull out all the stops in 2021 to avoid losing Target, which should buy them an encore in 2021. But we'll see where it goes from there - they've burned through a lot of top tier options, so you're into repaints or less desirable characters in 2021.

Not sure, but I'm a fan of the line. TRU was the only retailer here in Canada carrying UE figures, but they have not had anything nationwide past the wave with Triple H and Finn.
And there are plenty of big names still left to make. Undertaker, AJ, Kane, Stone Cold (who we know is coming), Ric Flair (also on the way), etc. I'd be open to seeing another UE Hogan but in his Hulkamania returns attire from 2002.

The Ultimate line is on fire. It's not going anywhere anytime soon.

But we'll see where it goes from there - they've burned through a lot of top tier options, so you're into repaints or less desirable characters in 2021. I don't know if I'd say that. Off the top of head: Undertaker, Kane, Rollins, Reigns, Mysterio, Foley, Angle (if he re-signs), Sasha, Asuka, Goldberg, Orton, maybe Batista are top tier names that seem to seem well that that haven't gotten the Ultimate treatment. Plus the repaints of guys like Warrior, Cena, Hardy, Savage, Michaels, Hogan, Modern Rock, etc. At what, 6 figures a year in the main ultimate line, plus the Amazon repaints, they have the talent pool to milk it for a good while longer from a name perspective. Now whether or not they get retail support or it's feasible to be an only-only product is a different question.

Should be fine, especially if doubling up on guys is mostly through Amazon. Although there’s rumors of Cena/Rock again in series 10 I think. Tons of guys/gals they should be releasing in retail waves before doubling up though.

There hasn’t been a single repaint yet (I’m not counting the Amazon line because those feel like “bonus” figures). There’s not been a second mainline release yet and of the people rumored fo be getting them I’m fine with all of them getting another run through, especially HBK, Rock, & Cena because they were internet exclusives that we weren’t really told would be such

And Rock being on Amazon.

They really seem to have found their groove in terms of who to put in the lines, attires, etc, basically legends and tippy top current guys seems to be really working.
