Byron just explained it for us: this is all about Sheamus wanting to keep Drew from contending for the title again. Seems like it'd be easier to just go after the Miz, but who knows how Sheamus's (WWE creative's) brain works.

So Bad Bunny has to be under some sort of contract with how much he’s appearing and that he’s holding the title for awhile now, right? Wonder how much he’s being paid He apparently has been the top merch seller this year so far. |

imagine this match actually happening at Mania, for the WWE title after a well booked/built storyline instead of
"hey guys, sheamus and drew are friends did you know? but sheamus acts like he's gonna turn heel all the time and drew is like nah he's good trust him, and then sheamus just kicks drew on a random Raw for no reason, says its cause he wants the WWE title but they finally have a one on one and its not even for the title since they took it off Drew and put it on Miz"

This mania main event buildup is pretty confusing. I honestly don't even know who's feuding with who at this point. I'm not sure if WWE does either.

this match has been pretty solid, I gotta say despite being for years not a fan of sheamus, a good blood feud between these two would have been great for mania.
