I feel like there could be a hard drop off for me, eventually, of wanting to get all or almost all of each set. I will eventually stop getting multiples of people, or just pick and choose, and the further they go down the roster the less FTIL I will want. There’s a lot of lower card people I’m not interested in, but that’s just me.

Chris Jericho has 10 Elite figures (and 20 Basic figures) from 2010 to 2018 vs. 4 Unrivaled figures by series 6 (granted 1 is the grearest chase ever and the other is the greatest exclusive ever). How long before there are more Pain Making Le Champion figures, than light up jacket wearing, list holding, Y2J figures??
I guess I'll be waiting for an FTW Championship Title Belt for a long, long while.

I'm only really concerned about the slots in the main unrivalled line when I consider collecting. All the chase and exclusive figures are kind of like bonus figures to me. So I don't really care if they are repaints because I'm probably not interested. To date I haven't been that concerned about repaints because those first 2 series were hard to get. So maybe I get the second set of Bucks instead of the first now. The reveal of the latest set has given me pause though. Now I'm mildly concerned. I hope we don't start to see pegwarmers like Cody and Mox at the end of the year. So far everything is selling, so no panic. And I can wait a little longer for a Colt Cabana figure.

I think one of the things that might be worrying people is that we're still unsure of who fits into those main event slots that get a lot of remakes. Obviously Mox, Jericho, and the Elite guys were always going to be, and I think it's safe to say at this point that MJF and probably Darby are in that group just based on TV importance, as well as legend-class guys with proven retail appeal like Sting, Matt Hardy, Christian, Dustin, and Big Show.
I was surprised, though, to see more Lucha Bros so soon (not unhappy, mind you - they're one of my favorite tag teams working now and make for some of the most toyetic figures in the line). It's a little surprising to see the 2 tag slots taken up by a team we got so recently when heavily-featured teams like FTR or Best Friends are still waiting. That suggests a lot of guys are potentially going to get multiple repeats, and I get why people are concerned that we might be waiting awhile for well-liked midcard acts like the Team Taz guys, Eddie Kingston, Lance Archer, Dark Order, and a lot of the women's roster.

At the rate they’re going, Brodie Jr is gonna graduate high school before the Dark Order are all made, and that’s assuming they don’t add any new members

Would anyone but abject completionists and their family members buy an Alan Angels or a Preston Vance or an Alex Reynolds? Maybe one day, if they become stars, but not now, surely? I'm not saying you need to be of a certain level to 'deserve' a figure, but you need to be able to sell units, right? Although in a world where people buy toys of every Star Wars alien who flashed up on screen for half a second, there's probably a market for them.

I'm assuming Reynolds and Silver showing up together in the line is a decent possibility based on their popularity with the kind of diehard fans that watch BTE. I'd be more confident in saying that if there was some kind of two-pack line or store exclusives, but they seem to have the kind of groundswell support that gets attention when lower-card guys get discussed.

If you get the Dark Order, they will be in the retail store line, not Unrivaled.

Obviously I have no proof of this, but I have a suspicion that the Lucha Bros have had been swapped into series 6 new talent (maybe FTR) who were swapped to Unmatched. Again, just a theory, but looking at what they did with Britt, I could see them pumping a lot into Unmatched 1 to make sure that line launches strong.

What is Unmatched, anyway? I'm still not sure what the difference is between the new line and Unrivaled.

The way Jeremy has explained it's another line but rally the difference is going to be in name only (with the only exception being that Unmatched may delve deeper into the roster and possibly feature retro or LJN style figures from time to time), essentially as a way to get a line into stores each month, with Unrivaled and Unmatched alternating.

Thank you Ringside for putting up another back order of blood brothers, was it so hard to just do that?

Wait, it's seriously just the same style of figure under a different SKU? Except it might have different styles of figure sometimes? That doesn't seem logistically possible, that second part. None of this makes sense to me.

I thought Lucha Bros would be the reissues for series 7 so Idk what they’re doing now. Darby, Dustin, & Omega? Cassidy with a different shirt or normal legs? Dustin in blue and Darby with new ink would be my guesses. yeah we need Darby will the full Sleeve and would be cool a blue Dustin even tho he is so tall and also would be cool a new headscan for pac

None of this makes sense to me. That's exactly what it is. It's basically a way to 'trick' retailers into giving you more shelf space. They may do the odd fun style like the way Classic Superstars used to do the odd LJN styled figure, but yeah. It's going to be the exact same type of figures, they just need a unique name for line 2 so they can take up more shelf space and get more retail presence.
