'Taker and Boss Man of course did battle at WMXV, but I notice that they also worked some house shows against each other all the way back in 1991. What are some other matches you can think of that happened decades apart? Of course Hogan/Warrior is one example of such a pair of matches happening in WWF and WCW...many other examples exist in that category, and WWE/TNA and even AEW/WWE. Triple H/'Taker of course famously worked in 2001, 2011, and 2012 at WM. Lots of good examples.

Undertaker/Triple H faced off at WrestleMania 17 in 2001 and would revisit their feud a decade later at back-to-back WrestleManias in 2011 & 2012.
I really don't remember those two crossing paths much besides for these three big shows. The only other time was at Survivor Series 95 when Undertaker eliminated a young Hunter Hearst Helmsley from their match.

Edge- Cena revisited they're feud in 2009 from 2006 Orton-Edge from 2004; was revisited 2010. Orton and Cena having they're first major feud from 2007-2008. The feud picked up again in mid 2009; and once again had 2013-2014 leg. Taker and Austin engaged in 1997 program- 1998 program- 1999 program-2001 program and I believe brief one in 2002 Triple H and Taker as mentioned also had 2002 program. Triple H and Randy Orton with 2004/2005. Rated RKO/DX feud expanding it. Orton/HHH on and off would feud from 2007-2009 Michaels and Jericho had two entirely seperate programs in 2003-2008. But both were excellent. Sting/Hogan was picked up in 2011 in TNA Hardy Boyz/Edge rivalry saw multiple iterations. Ziggler and Kofi had series of feuds and matches in early 2010s. Rock/Austin
Some rivalries get played out. But; some don't. A really good rivalry can be revisited at any time IF done right. Some feuds I think got watered down. Orton/Cena did get little tiresome. Jericho/Michaels was excellent both times around; totally different feud both times around. Edge and Cena was another one; even though 95% of the feud was from 2006. And the rest being first quarter of 2009; and sporadic encounters in 2007-2008. I think one of my favorite scenarios; is where both guys feuded as mid card stars. And both mature into main eventers; and the bad blood grows.
Cena and Orton did have some growth. You see both in 2007; early in they're runs at the top of the company. Both established. And at the forefront. But; still in the early days. In 2009; you see more growth with both men established and have grown great understanding of the other and they're motives. By 2013/2014; they are seasoned veterans. And have been at the top for a while. So maybe seeing some closure to this; one day with both men in twilight; but having legendary status would be good storybook end.
