The only figure I want is Rey. I really wish it had the striped boots.. the all black boots just bring the attire down a bit. Also, does anyone know when he specifically wore this attire? That Edge is an atrocious.

Why does the better of the two Scarlett figures have to be the chase, by the way am I the only one who thinks that hbk headsculpt looks more like Adam Pearce then Shawn Michaels

Oh my God...that HBK is frigging hilarious 😂😂😂 even his photo on the package has me dying 🤣 That basic Edge is also one of the worst ones I've seen. This is just further proof that basics need to go lol honestly there's been a lot of discussion about this, and its just not the smart move. there absolutely is a market for basics. they have just transitioned the basics focus from "collector" to "children". There are a few thrown in now and again, but basics are made for parents on a budget to buy their kids for gifts. That's it. kids dont care that Edge's shirt or Pete Dunne's singlet is painted on a muscular torso, they see them on TV and want to use them to get beat up or beat up their other guys. This is a TOY line. As a kid I'd rather have 50 basics than 25 elites. not to mention retailers love a line like that, it makes sense for everyone. we, as collectors, have to stop expecting so much out of the basic line. its not for us anymore. |

That Basic Edge though... dear god. That looks like something straight outta 2009 “license is ending, we don’t care anymore” era Jakks. Who in their right mind thought that looked ok?!
I do like the Top Picks Rey, though. Definitely gonna grab him and maybe the Cena in that set, as well. I still don’t understand why Mattel continues to release the same Reigns figure in two different sets at almost the exact same time. Like, at least change the color of the vest logos or something! This is like what they originally did with Braun in the Top Picks and Elite lines. But with Reigns, he has so many different vest designs to choose from, unlike Braun who wears mostly the same getup. Why release the same thing twice? So cheap.

It’s a $10 figure and his first Basic. There’s no molded torso that fits his build. First basic since his comeback. Edge had several basics in 2010-11. He's already had at least 3 since his comeback, before this one. |

IMO, basics used to be fantastic and most of the time have the better attire choices. The peach trunks Summerslam ‘04 Orton is his best figure and it’s a basic. Gone downhill the last few years and it has nothing to do with the change in articulation. It’s the execution and choices. Whoever is designing them is doing a terrible job and needs sacking. The lack of legends and older stuff is hurting them imo plus the painted on the skin attires suck. |

Yo that’s kind of uncalled for, I collect both basics and elites because I enjoy collecting and it’s nostalgic but the basics have definitely sloped hard over the last couple of years, I do agree other talent would make it better, but crapping on anyone for collecting basics is rude AF if we didn’t collect then what would be the point of all this |

About what I expected as far as the amount of reveals go. I wasn't expecting any huge surprises here or anything.
I've got Dijakovic and Scarlett on preorder, and I'm still good with that after seeing the Scarlett figure. Dijakovic still looks a little rough, but I'm not holding out much hope he will get an Elite any time soon, so I'm fine with this figure for now. Scarlett looks pretty good, although I think I like the chase more. I might have to try to track one down.
The only other figure that caught my eye was the TP Rey. Looks pretty good.

They have a basic shirt mold... This was exactly my first thought - they literally have a shirt mold! The sleeves could be painted but the torso.. yikes Hopefully that figure warms shelves and they learn their lesson |
