Are you a basics only collector due to financial reasons? Hard to imagine another reason. Yo that’s kind of uncalled for, I collect both basics and elites because I enjoy collecting and it’s nostalgic but the basics have definitely sloped hard over the last couple of years, I do agree other talent would make it better, but crapping on anyone for collecting basics is rude AF if we didn’t collect then what would be the point of all this I've never understood the "basics are bad" mentality. I'm an adult whose figures stand around on a shelf - I couldn't care less about ab crunch, points of articulation, etc. Some basics are among my favorite figures when done well. Others I pass on because sometimes the deco on tights doesn't look great with the way the legs are. But there have been some really well done figures as basics that we'll never get as Elites. With that said, since the redesign, the basics are a hot mess. Design is poor, there is zero attention to scale, and the plastic feels like a notably lower quality. If they can't put out a quality product at 9.99, then they need to adjust the price point. |

Pretty bad if you ain’t doing repaints you have no legends. I’m just happy Jeremy Padawer said Jazwares would do legends soon, also said they can do legends who aren’t signed anywhere else

Pretty bad if you ain’t doing repaints you have no legends. I’m just happy Jeremy Padawer said Jazwares would do legends soon, also said they can do legends who aren’t signed anywhere else I think people will be pretty shocked by some of the names that show up in the Jazwares line over time. |

I don't know how much longer 9.99 is sustainable, but the line is so heavily for kids they need to keep it there as long as possible, quality be damned. I could see some kids still getting them up to maybe a $12ish price point, but even that feels a bit shaky.
Also I was really hoping we'd see Elite 87 today, so that was a disappointment. I'm excited to see if we're getting that new Asuka.

That Top Picks Rey is actually really good. Def gonna grab that, I'll grab Top Picks McIntyre and Basic Scarlett and Dunne when I see them. Really wish that Dunne was an elite to go with the Walter exclusive tho.

2. That Edge torso....uhhh....ouch.
3. I don’t even own an elite Cena, but this one is actually growing in me.

That HBK figure is hilarious...I hate that I have to get it. I wish they would have at least done it as an Elite with the vest and cowboy hat.
I love that we're seeing street gear figures, like that Edge, in the basic line. I'm wondering if that jean mould will be used for Bulldog?
I also love that we're getting a flashback in the Top Picks line, which I always thought they should do with bigger names like Cena, Rey, Taker, etc.
