MJF has the potential to be the next Ric Flair without a doubt bro there will never be another Ric flair You surely know what I’m getting at right? 😂 I’d love for this stable to turn up on Dynamite this week and wipe Spears out of it, he feels incredibly out of place.

in fairness four horsemen had like 5 ppl in it and if ur counting JJ like the original...this one has 7 now that you mention it, 3 count is actually a group of 4 when you add tank to the mix, so... I'll go start my own faction... Crazy drunk Canadians.

You guys aren’t even giving Spears a chance in this new role I'll give it a fair go. I liked the feud with Cody. I could never get behind him as Tye Dillinger though. Actually couldn't stand him there.

You guys aren’t even giving Spears a chance in this new role Well he was Tully's first disciple and has been that way since he turned heel against Cody...

I didn’t even realise that Christian Cage went straight to Kenny Omega... AEW is definitely better than the WWE product (minus NXT) right now. I mean I'm a huge AEW shill so clearly I prefer them to NXT, but to be honest, I don't even really think of NXT in the same way as other WWE products. Like I know there's crossover, but if I were to think about which promotions I rank where, I have NXT in a totally seperate category from Raw/SD, because it feels like its own entity most of the time. To be fair, I think I’m becoming a massive simp for AEW because it’s product has characters I quite enjoy watching wrestle. Christian has been my favourite wrestler forever. Seeing him in a promotion where I know he’s gonna get used well is honestly satisfying. I get what you mean with NXT though, however it’s always gonna have its way of being dragged into the other shows, Smackdowns pretty good tbf though. RAW is just awful and I can’t stand it

You guys aren’t even giving Spears a chance in this new role if it's like anything else he's done in aew, it ain't getting over. only real difference so far is he bleached his stupid, off-center mohawk, which doesn't look any better lol.

Totally forgot until I saw it on Twitter. Spears and mjf have history too. Start of the pandemic they were super chummy betting on all the matches at ringside! Forgot all about that.

I’m with most of you that Shawn Spears just doesn’t have “It.” I was never a fan of him as Tye Dillinger and haven’t been impressed with him in AEW either. He stood out like a sore thumb in the final segment.
I get giving him a chance but he’s had multiple gimmicks over his career and hasn’t really gotten over with any of them. They even put Tully with him and it didn’t move the needle (though adding Tully to FTR did wonders for them despite already being great in the ring).

I think where the downside comes in is Cody brought in his brother, they had a great match, and the world got to see Dustin was worth more than WWE was showcasing him as. Cody most like assumed that he could bring in one of his best buddies, and show the world that WWE wasn’t showcasing his talents well enough either. Problem is, NXT showcased Spears as more of a gimmick than a worker because that’s where he shined. Cody ended up exposing that Spears just isn’t some hidden diamond in the sand. He’s under card/mid card at best. So they will keep trying things with him to see if anything works, because the last thing Cody wants is his buddy to go without being used just like he was in WWE.
This is all just my opinion.

This New Horseman reveal was a wonderful surprise, and it pretty much solidifies my theory that AEW already planned out the order of their world champions from the start with long-term storytelling.
Omega is going to lose to Page (of course) but then Page will lose to MJF, who they've clearly been using as slowly as possible until Page is established as the top face.
BUT THEN MJF's successor is already set in stone as well. Who you ask? None other than Cody Rhodes, the guy who lost his eligibility for the championship through MJF and likewise will find his way into a title match through him. Most likely with a stipulation such as "if Cody loses he retires" to give MJF motivation to accept the Championship match.

They said when they started the company they already had two years worth of stories. They look very long term with their major booking.

I loved this episode of Dynamite. All props for them getting two great segments out of addressing the ending to Revolution, Matt/Fenix and Darby/Scorpio were awesome, the MJF Horsemen was neat (Sammy selling that curb stomp ftw), and Maki Itoh being the greatest.

Loved the MJF reveal,he's the perfect leader for the new Horsemen. Please kick Spears to the curb asap.
Well I said I didn't care how Darby retained. Wasn't a great ending but ill take it.
Can't wait for Penta/Cody,hope Penta is the guy that sends Cody home.
Britt and Rosa should be great. I hope Britt keeps Itoh with her, those two and Rebel be a nice mean girl clique.
