Count me in as someone who likes Spears.
Some years ago at an NXT house show, he had a match with Bobby Roode. I wasn't watching wrestling at the time, but my son was. It was a fun match, with them wearing rival sports jerseys and playing off the crowd. It reminded me of the Roberts/Martel blindfold matches, where crowd participation makes the match.
If he did it then, he can do it again. He just needs the right opportunity.

I’m not a Spears fan, but there’s a spot for him in wrestling. He’s a low tier mid-card guy that you can occasionally push.

Totally forgot until I saw it on Twitter. Spears and mjf have history too. Start of the pandemic they were super chummy betting on all the matches at ringside! Forgot all about that. I love this promotion |

I mean I'm a huge AEW shill so clearly I prefer them to NXT, but to be honest, I don't even really think of NXT in the same way as other WWE products. Like I know there's crossover, but if I were to think about which promotions I rank where, I have NXT in a totally seperate category from Raw/SD, because it feels like its own entity most of the time. To be fair, I think I’m becoming a massive simp for AEW because it’s product has characters I quite enjoy watching wrestle. Christian has been my favourite wrestler forever. Seeing him in a promotion where I know he’s gonna get used well is honestly satisfying. I get what you mean with NXT though, however it’s always gonna have its way of being dragged into the other shows, Smackdowns pretty good tbf though. RAW is just awful and I can’t stand it Welcome to the party, pal! |

Well, Christian got me to 'toe-in-warm-water' the show this week and I watched the segment leading up to his appearance which I didn't dislike. I don't mind them taking the approach of making the explosion an issue but it's also dumb enough that they could just move on. I am not the biggest Kenny Omega fan but I'm looking forward to the feud and am all for Christian cementing himself immediately in the title picture. Definitely adds credibility (for me at least) and adds another name besides Jericho to have had a hand in getting things moving. If anyone can lead him to a good, US style match it's Christian.
I couldn't watch much more than that because the women's stuff was just absolutely abysmal. I hate to use wrestling terms 'out loud' but I will just say what I saw was embarrassing and I shudder to think that this is what's happening on a regular basis and why the show gets the criticism it does. If that was the 'standard', the criticism is warranted because it immediately tuned me out.

Honestly, if it's not a singles match involving Thunder Rosa, Serena Deeb, or Hikaru Shida I don't really pay attention. I'm not into women's wrestling for the most part though. |

Even he's being paired up with Eddie now 😂 2 people is hardly a stable lol Moxley did say that he was going to move into a tag wrestler for a bit and his partner was going to be Brodie. The story of him and Eddie reuniting is a solid plan b. |

Man... Tully has been saying fear the revelation for some time now. I'm not a Bible person but apparently that's the book that talks about the horseman alot. I love this company.

I hope not because this Flair is horribly overrated. Lol, imagine watching even a minute of MJF, and thinking he's overrated... Obviously this is a long way into the future and things can happen, but it would not surprise me one bit if in twenty years mjf is widely considered the single best thing to come in this entire generation of wrestlers. |
