Like the poll says, who will be the first 2x AEW world champion?
I went with the typical pick, Kenny Omega. Guy is positioned as their top heel, and while MJF will no doubt get a heel run with the belt at some point, Kenny seems to be holding that spot for the foreseeable future. I could see him drop it in a surprise loss at some point, only to win it back. Maybe Hangman knocks him off for the belt, only for Kenny to get it back shortly later to cut Hangman’s run short (Christian could always play that role too before Kenny eventually puts Hangman over for a long run).

I don't see them splitting Kenny's title reign so that Page's win will feel more special. I could see Page trading the belt with MJF but I think the most likely answer is Cody. When he finally gets the championship he's absolutely going to Jarrett it up for awhile.

I say Kenny is the easy choice so that's where I'm going but I can see Hangman or MJF doing it too especially MJF if all this Horseman stuff goes over as well as most people thinks it will. Me personally I hope the honor goes to one of the three that I mentioned.
Not to over take the thread from the op but who's everybody's pick to be the first triple crown winner in AEW? I think I'm gonna go with Mox for this. I know Kenny is close already but I see him sticking around the main title for a long time and I can see Mox and Eddie getting hot and take the tag titles this year and maybe make a point to try hold all the titles after that.

Probably Omega. I don't think Jericho will ever win it again. Mox makes sense, but Kenny feels more likely to me.

I picked Kenny.
I also don't think Jericho will ever be AEW Champion again. He was a good first time champion since it did give it some real credibility, but I don't see him ever holding the belt again.

I feel like Omega will either have a couple of really long reigns and/or he will wind up with the most reigns...but I see Mox being the first two-time champ just so he can have a run with fans in the stands.
Jericho doesn't need the belt. He got it over, gave it credibility, and now he's going to be a roleplayer until he retires. I could see him being a quickie transition guy somewhere down the line, but he probably won't ever hold the belt again. If he was, he most likely would have won it back from Mox before Omega won it.

Probably Kenny. He will likely drop it to Christian, get it back, then drop it to Mox or Hangman.
