Is that Flair attire associated with a certain event? Not a big event in particular, but he wore it on the 3/11/89 episode of WCW. |

Ordered both even though I was on the fence with Austin. We have that vest already and the logo on the back of the shirt is cool but not something you'd see once it's on display. I love the new head though and don't wanna risk missing out on another Ultimate like I did with Bret.
Ric Flair on the other hand though is incredible. I love the robe and the attire choice. Easily will be replacing the basic that came in the Battle Pack with Charlotte on my shelf.

I watched the attitude era regularly back in the day but I swear I don't remember a blue belt. How long was in it existence and when?

Shortly after Stone Cold won the belt at mania 14 it switched to blue. Didn't last to long though only other person to hold it was Kane. For 1 day if I'm remembering correctly. |

Both these figures are great... that Flair robe is just fantastic!
I'd have preferred Austin to have come with the (iconic) smoking skull belt instead of this blue one - but it's a minor gripe.

Austin I got now, Flair will preorder on payday
I’ve got a bunch of Austins (both Defining moments, Best of Attitude Era, RSC Exclusive bionic redneck vest, Hall of Fame, Royal Rumble 2021 wave, Stunning Steve Austin, etc) but I knew I had to get Ultimate Austin to go with UE Rock and UE HHH
That flair robe looks really nice tho
Edit: I’ll be getting custom middle finger hands for Austin. Not something to complain about since it’s easily fixable thanks to the the great folks across the community who sell custom parts. I’m sure we prob all will be doing that lol

Honestly, this may be my favorite UE set. I get that the Austin isn’t so different than some past releases but with the more advanced articulation, multiple sculpts, extra soft shirt, attitude era title etc - it’s prob still the best Austin made.
The Flair is the exact kind of Ric Flair fig I’ve always wanted. There’s been some good 80s Flairs (love the four horseman pack in black etc) but this is the kind of color scheme I always wanted to see. Pretty much the perfect Flair fig IMO

Didn’t really plan on buying Ultimate Austin but went ahead and preordered it today. I think it’s overall a nice figure with its pros and cons. I like the alternative heads and back design on the shirt. Glad it comes with the blue strap since I already have the smoking skull title. Could really use some thicker thighs just like his elites needs, not sure his arms are big enough either. Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t his original Austin 3:16 shirt have the smoke coming out of the skull’s eyes on the back design? I wonder if that was a budgeting cut or something else? No you're correct. The skull was also shaded. They just didn't use the original design.  |

I dont know if the Flair head scan has that Whooo look to it, if not more of a shocked looked to it. Love that robe though 😍😍 Yeah I agree. His mouth is open to much.Jakks captured it pretty well with Classics series 9 Flair. I thought of that exact Jakks head scan too. It still seems better than this UE version. Your right, the mouth is open too much. |

No thats the original (note the New Gen logo), it always had smoke. Much like the smoking skull title, or the red skull shirt.   The only skulls that didnt were on his vest. This was something that was changed much later, I don't know exactly when. |
