The Basic Sid Justice is perfect...Is there any need for an Elite? Maybe at some point in the future, but I'm much happier with a WCW Sid. The next Sid I'd want is a late-WCW/ECW Sid in jeans and vest. My feelings exactly. It's a perfect way to release a WCW Sid. That's not a figure that would sell on its own, but represents a pretty important (if short) 4 Horsemen run. Add in the ref gear and it should do pretty well. The Sid Justice basic is a pretty perfect figure as-is. So I'm absolutely thrilled with them covering another era of his career, and early 90s WCW is under represented in general.

Why not make it a 2-1 WWF Ref Sid and WWF Sid? I think it's a way to give us a WCW Sid Vicious. It's pretty good... but I'd still have preferred a WWF Sid underneath. I don't get it at all. Just make a separate figure for that. Not like we get a lot of Sid figures.

It's not like he'd come with any accessories other than hands.

True, but they could add multiple heads (insane laughing scan, smiling scan, big smiling scan/crazy look) and multiple hands. Maybe a chair from when he destroyed the Barber Shop. Or a stretcher.

Why are we talking about SID and Mustafa in the Legends thread?

1. I don't buy or collect basics. 2. He was never Sid Justice in WCW.

In the Q&A board, Steve said this was originally designed as a Sid Vicious figure for another Elite line (with the ref outfit thrown in as an accessory), but it had to be moved, so they just put him in the Summerslam line with the ref outfit on in package as Sid Justice.

Right. We're still getting an elite Sid Justice as he appeared at SummerSlam 1991. If you don't Sid Vicious, just keep the ref gear on. 👍

Anyone else feel this would have been the perfect time to give us a 2-in-1 Luger? Rather than another Hall, we could have gotten a Luger in black trunks and white boots with removable nWo shirt and pants. I love Hall but I feel like this could have been a chance to round out another member of the Wolfpac.

It's Sid Justice in the box, wearing his ref gear as he did at SummerSlam 1991... as Sid Justice. Therefore, accurate presentation.
You can't see the WCW gear underneath while in the box. You're essentially getting a bonus WCW figure - there should be no complaints from anyone whatsoever in that regard.
There is constant moaning and complaining about the same people being recycled in the lineups and released over and over again. We get someone different, with a couple of unique looks, and there is still complaints. It shouldn't be happening.
If you don't like it, don't buy. It's that simple.
