As others have said, I think this probably has more to do with a scheduling conflict than anything.

I get that HOF is synonymous with Wrestlemania weekend and in the realm of things it shouldn’t really matter much. But like imagine that some of these guys last potential moment in the spotlight and for most (looking at you celebrity wing) deserved recognition and your class is prob the only one to get that moment with no fans on essentially a zoom call.
I’m not saying thats whats happening with Batista but if it were me, Id want my one moment to be in the right setting.

They are saying it was a mutual decision. Batista would rather wait for fans and the Wwe realize he is someone capable of selling tickets.
