Khali going in has had me genuinely laughing my head off. That bloke has failed upwards since 2005.

Good for Kane, well deserved. Great worker and seems to be a class act behind the scenes based on what I’ve gathered from shoot interviews.

I mean he was WWE champion and he revolutionized their relationship with India to the point that he was so over they were editing Khali matches into their shows over there even if he wasn’t part of the tapings. He wasn’t anywhere near good in the ring but he had his place in the business. Many guys have held world championships but that doesn’t mean they are HOF worthy. And good for their Indian market but they don’t tour India 95% of the year. He didn’t draw worth a sh*t in the U.S. so it doesn’t really matter They also didn't make any substantial money from the India market because of him either. Same for Jinder.

Good for both. Once again, the point of the Hall Of Fame is to honor workers for their careers, not to be based on who marks think “deserve” it or not.

For laughs, Khali held the World Title as many times as the Ultimate Warrior did and had a longer run in the company than he did. Neither could really work well. Khali was more liked backstage. Only one of them went on discriminating YouTube rants. Warrior made more money in America. Khali made more in India.
So idk seems pretty even to me.

I think the thing people are missing is that Khali was an attraction besides being a main eventer. Yeah he sucked, but he was an attraction that helped open up the entire country of India to wwe programming, which is now WWEs biggest market besides the US. whether or not he was a good wrestler is up for your opinion, however the fact that his contributions to the company made vince hundreds of millions is undeniable.Does that mean MBS is a surefire lock?

I predicted Khali about 10 years ago on here. He was always going to get in eventually with his legacy.
Now obviously, if it was an actual hall of fame based on wrestling ability he'd be nowhere near it, but that's just not what the WWE Hall of Fame is.

I can’t answer on if he did as much coke and steroids as old Hellwig though.

What is even more sillier than Khali getting into the HOF is that people are still crying and moaning about who gets inducted. Why do a lot of people always act surprised when something like this happens? This isn't new.

People, people, people.... each year, some of you complain about the picks that are going into the WWE Hall of Fame, and each year I have to remind you that the WWE HOF isn't technically a 'real' HOF. It's a night where the guys and girls get a pay check, to go up and say a speech about their career, while the other wrestlers get to sit and enjoy it, as the fans pay money to watch it as well, thus giving Vince McMahon money in his pocket.
So if a wrestler hasn't burnt a bridge with the WWE and Vince McMahon, he will no doubt go into the WWE Hall of Fame. Hell, even if a wrestler did burn a bridge with Vince or the WWE (example CM Punk) for the right amount of money, said wrestler and Vince will agree to have them be in the WWE Hall of Fame, because they know the fans will pay money to buy tickets to see it.
So the Great Khali deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, just as much as Kane, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Koko B. Ware, or any other wrestler that has gone in to the WWE HOF in the past 25 or so years.

Dude, India does not make WWE hundreds of millions. Not even close. Saying that they’re the second biggest market doesn’t mean anything when WWE tours the U.S. the majority of the year. They couldn’t even sell out arenas when Jinder was there.

Khali deserves to go into the Hall of Fame for his appearance at Battleground 2017 alone, where he celebrated Jinder's victory as if he, being Khali, had just won the title. Top 5 GOAT moment and it's not even close.
