Khali deserves to go into the Hall of Fame for his appearance at Battleground 2017 alone, where he celebrated Jinder's victory as if he, being Khali, had just won the title. Top 5 GOAT moment and it's not even close. Was that ever explained? I swear it was never even mentioned except in recap packages đł

Delighted for Kane but I would've liked him to headline during a proper ceremony.

Kane well deserved.
Khali...? I donât know whatâs worse Khali being in the Fame or Bella Twins. No wait, I know... Khali! SMH.

How has no one mentioned how excited they are for Khaliâs acceptance speech, that sure-fire entertainment is worth the price of admission alone. I agree with theoutlaw1999 above though, I really wish Kane would have gotten a proper HOF induction moment. I guess the company couldnât do a Hall Of Fame without some headliners. I just wish some of the ones this year were held off. Ironically kind of defines Kaneâs career though as the company guy, always did what the company asked no matter what they gave him, now here in his induction heâs sorta taking one for the team again by headlining with no audience.

I mean there's a few obvious reasons why Khali is HOF worthy
1) He introduced the diabolical Punjabi Prison 2) His trap hold that he'd be able to apply for multiple minutes during matches 3) His ability to walk without bending his knees 4) Most importantly, he's probably being inducted for diversity cause they couldn't find a black or hispanic wreatler for the 2021 Class
Idk how hes getting in before Giant Gonzalez lol

Hall of Fame announcements and smark tears. đ It was emotional seeing how much the induction means to Kane. Heâs a perfect headliner for this year. He gets to go in in the top spot which is a nice reward for his years of service and his ability to be near the top of the card for twenty years, including being one of the top stars of the attitude era... but I think Iâd be at least slightly disappointed buying a ticket to the event if he was the top billing. Khali had a nice varied run as well, from the lumbering monster to the comedy goof. One of the most memorable characters of the 2000s and early 2010s.

This one is bittersweet. Thereâs absolutely nobody more deserving, he was the perfect company guy, a genuinely good person (of course he would be the one to get emotional when itâs announced!) and a first ballot HOF career. Itâs just such a shame he wonât be headlining a normal class and where fans can be there and show their appreciation, because thatâs what he absolutely deserves. Itâs strange he is going in given he isnât retired officially and yet Taker is, my guess is Taker inducts Kane this year and Kane inducts Taker in Dallas the following. These two are such legends that Iâd back them being doubles and entering as the brothers of destruction. A big congratulations to Kane though, underutilized and undervalued all these years, but so very deserving.
Personally, itâs another one of those situations that covid has really screwed with. I was meant to be in LA this year to watch and wouldâve seen his induction in person like for Bearer. So Iâm devastated international restrictions means I wonât be able to be there for this one. I donât enjoy the current product as much so being there for his induction was one of the few things WWE wise I had to look forward to.
On a side note, have to say I called it all those years ago, Taker himself confirmed in that reveal vid that Kane is in fact the man! đ

I hope Taker inducts Kane. Kane is definitely headliner worthy. as for Khali, heâs one of the worst wrestlers Iâve ever seen, but this is HOF based on your relationship with the company and not based off accomplishments. omg I lolâd at the Khali sentence đ

Khaliâs speech will deserve its own wing in the HOF. I thought after hearing Mr T's that it would never be touched.... Khali will blow that out of the water.

Kane was a brilliant character from 1997 right the way up to 2005, and even after that he managed to get 15 more years out of a character that had long since passed its prime. For the last nine years I've been extremely put off by his awful costume, but I've always known that Glenn Jacobs as a man is worth the adoration even when the Kane character hasn't always been.
Very richly deserved.

The bigger joke of a hall of fame to me is the Baseball and Football. Football inducts 4-8 inductees every years and most of the time it is closer to 8. It is normally comprised of one first ballot guy and a few that are pretty close to first ballot but it is normally filled in with guys who are elderly and have been waiting 30-40 years to get in. A few have died not long after and were too sick to really enjoy their ceremonies (Hank Stram, Jack Butler, Gene Hickerson come to mind) and not long after the passing of Ken Stabler and Ron Santo they each got inducted despite decades of being overlooked. To me, THAT is the joke-not the WWE Hall of Fame. And additionally, the football hall of fame is inducting TWENTY new members because it happens to be the 100th anniversary of the NFL. They're little inducting 20 people just because. Yes, WWE Hall of Famers are chosen based on relationship with the company but many in the football and baseball hall of fames are chosen based on their lack of relationship with the voters. Jim Rice waited many years to get in and some believed it was because he had a poor relationship with the media. John Mackey was chosen on his last year of eligibility by the voters and waited so long because the voters did not like him being involved in the player's union. Now the voters, as well as players and fans deserve to be bitter about letting steroid users in but their process for many years has been just as big a joke if not moreso than the WWE AND these two hall of fames, baseball and football are supposed to be the superior hall of fames, right? They're supposed to be the real ones. Who cares if WWE has a physical hall of fame? I went to the baseball hall of fame twice and football four times. Sure the stuff inside is historic and interesting but like most museums it's not all that interesting. It's the induction weekends that do big business and bring people from all over the country just like WWE's induction weekends and wrestlemania. I went to see the inductions and meet the players and I think most attendees of the weekend do the same thing. For those criticizing any inductee into the hall of fame, you might want to do some research on the past 20 years of baseball and football inductions. And finally, don't you think the WWE Hall of Fame means a lot more to the inductees, many of whom are living than it does the relatives of a hall of famer who waited decades to get in, died and the next year they were inducted? Don't you think it means so much more to the WWE guys than it does to the elderly baseball or football hall of fame inductees who wait decades to get in, are inducted but have to be on stage in a wheelchair and die not long after?
