Ok, so this has been done before, but I don’t think quite like this. The game is simple. Imagine a world where there are no rules regarding what talent could be signed. Nobody ever overdosed or did anything heinous, there is no concussion lawsuit, Over the Edge went off without a hitch, all those factors get thrown out. Also, there’s no limitations on who wrestled where. If you want a Christopher Daniels elite or an Abyss UE, go for it. This is a world where Mattel can make any figure it so chooses at any cost. That’s the world Now, in said world, you get the following choice. You get up to 20 new figures, and you’re done. 20 figures are all the more you get to have from where you stand now. They can be figures already made, or they can be brand new figures. Up to you. You get... 10 wrestling personalities of your choice (whomever you want) 1 tag team (if they have a manager, they’re included) 1 three-man tag team 1 stable up to 5 members (the stable can have more than 5 members but you only get 5 figures) IMPORTANT NOTE: You can include tag teams/stable members in your 10 individual figures, but you can’t include two people as one individual entry. You get to choose anyone you want, absolutely anyone, in any style you want. There is no cost factor involved on either end. If you want 20 ultimates, you get 20 ultimates, pretend you hit the cosmic Mattel lotto here. But note that after these 20 figures, you are DONE. The only rule governing the choices? The attire must be something they specifically wore. No mashups allowed.
So, come on. Play the game. Try to see if you could choose. |

10 Wrestling Personalities of Your Choice
1. Owen Hart - I'm not trying to build the Hart Foundation or anything, so give me either the Black Hart attire, the singles OH pattern, his Nation Danger attire, or late stage 1997 Hart Foundation with the short hair
2. Jeff Jarrett - late WWF Don't Piss Me Off era attire, or his run as WCW World Heavyweight Champion with all the accessories (glasses, shirt, era-appropriate title, guitar). I prefer the golden yellow Js on his trunks, so let's go with those.
3. Taz - One Z. ECW World Heavyweight Champion era, with the FTW Championship packed in. If you don't give me enough articulation to pose him with his arms crossed, it don't count.
4. The Great Muta - Muta's got 8 billion attires to choose from, but I'm a sucker for figures based on events I saw live, so give me the purple Xenomorph gear he wore for his appearance at the G1 SuperCard at MSG.
5. Justin Credible - Give me all the accessories for his peak in ECW. Kendo stick, ECW WHC, soft goods I Hate This Town shirt.
6. Mortis - Full WCW entrance gear, complete with his weird jester staff thing
7. Lance Storm - I'd buy either his red and white or red and black ECW gear. Yeah, I'm putting him here to cheat my way into owning the Impact Players.
8. Gangrel - Big missing piece of the Attitude era. It only counts if he gets two heads, one with glasses and the other with blood around the mouth. His gear has to have those weird plates he had on his tights, too. Can't forget the chalice.
9. Haystacks Calhoun - a legend I feel like sometimes only I want. Most of the budget is going to his size, but he definitely needs his horseshoe chain. Bonus points if there's a grayscale chase variant.
10. Luna Vachon - give me a TrueFX update of her Jakks Classic and I'll be one happy camper.

The Unholy Alliance w/ The Sinister Minister - give me the full set with the ECW Tag Team Championships. A cane for James V, bucket hat for Mikey, and alternate head with green mist for Tajiri.
1 Three-Man Tag Team
The Jersey Triad Going off the cuff here, as two guys have already been made, but I loved this team, and we never got that late WCW heel look from DDP. Give them the entrance shirts, and the late WCW tag titles to boot.
1 Stable, Up to 5 Members
The Truth Commission - I loved this team. Removable berets for all. Give me the Jackal fronted version. He can be in his David Koresh getup or the matching gear, I don't care.

There are plenty of others I would like Mattel versions of (ECW Originals) but a good portion of those have already been done by Jakks when they had the WWF licenses, and fit in well enough in my collection. I concentrated more on those that have never had figures anywhere that can fit in with my collection. Tommy Rich & Buzz Sawyer were some of my earliest memories of wrestling, along with the early 80's AWA.
