And "THE BULLET CLUB IS BACK TOGETHER." Schiavone's words not mine.

and with that, the Bucks are no longer the tweeners they've been since they had the falling out with Page and are now full blown heels
hearing the champ is here by Muhammad made me think of Samoa Joe's ROH days

However high I felt off last week, I feel as low tonight. Card didn't promise much and yielded as much. One of AEW's charms is in hitting multiple storylines but this week was stretched way too thin. Matchups and interactions felt so random. QT freaking Marshall was by far the highlight. That does not feel right to type.
If TK felt they could limp it in due to a high-drawing competition, mission accomplished. Hope for a kick-a** show next week.

I usually watch both shows at the same time but NXT got my undivided attention tonight. Was going to watch this after but the internet is crushing this show and people absolutely hate the bucks turn. I think people are over the bullet club thing now. It had its time, it done.

Meh week.
I thought the best part was Chris Jericho's promo. He lit it up. I didn't care much for Pinnacle attacking him later and then getting beat up and running away. That's 2 weeks in a row they've been stomped. I expect Mike Tyson to turn on Jericho next week.
The Nightmare Factory also earns a nod for getting me interested. Solid promo.
Britt Baker had a Britt Baker-like promo. It was taped though so "bullsh*t" was edited out. I don't like that.
Team Taz did a promo that was sh*t. Sting/Archer/Roberts tried to top it with a sh*t promo of their own. The Death Triangle gave a sh*t interview to Tony Schiavone that was interrupted by the Best friends who tried to top everyone with their own sh*t promo. "We have an alien." No thanks.
Page - Caster should have been better. Caster basically mentioning that Page has gone from a star to a coaster in his rap was the best part. He's right. They have no idea what to do with Hangman and are fizzling him with the Dark Order alignment. Eventually he'll face Kenny and blah blah blah. That'll be great, but right now he's being wasted. The chain spot in this match was so stupid. Completely pointless false finish.
Mox/Bucks vs Omega/Good Brothers - This was okay. They full fledged turned the Bucks now. I'm good with that. With all the stables in AEW, I like the Elite the best and think they have the most "cred." They need another singles wrestler though. If you want to get Hangman back in the mix, there it is.
Darby Allin vs. JD Drake - I didn't need this. I like the Idea of Darby defending the TNT Championship every week, but spare me these nobodies. There are guys on the roster fans would like to see in that spot on AEW's number 1 show. I'd bet JD Drake wasn't anywhere near the top of many people's list.
Jurassic Express vs. Bear Country - Tony Khan should get a few million dollars from his dad, build a rocket ship, put Bear Country's masks in it, put it on autopilot, and fly it into the sun. Strap Marko Stunt to the outside of the ship before launch too just because. There were some botches but I didn't mind this match.
Tay Conti vs. The Bunny - I wasn't expecting much, and that's what I got.
With no competition, this better not become a norm.

Yeah that was one of the worst Dynamites in awhile. JD Drake does look like a stereotypical jobber, but that move where he threw Darby into the ropes on the outside and caught with him a Lariat on the rebound was sick so I'm a fan.

Poor show.
Lots of bad basics, and open cooperation and communicating tonight. So much standing around and waiting to be hit. It seems like most of the talents in AEW have no clue what to do when mistakes happen.
Jurassic Express and Bear Country was awful. The smaller member of Bear Country needs to be coached.
They've also killed all of Christian's charm. He's naturally funny and upbeat, not brooding and boring.
They need new minds in creative, I think.
Say what you want about Cornette, but with AEW, he hits the nail on the head often. There are a lot of glaring issues that are keeping them from growing.

From what I saw but NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver had my attention this week Match #1: Adam Page Vs. Max Caster should have been on Dark and Dark 2.0 In-Ring #1: Interesting feud between Best Friends and Death Triangle In-Ring #2: Chris Jericho was the highlight of this show. Backstage #1: Christian Cage is gonna turn down Tazz and we get the dream match Cage vs. Cage in a Cage LOL Match #2: Jurassic Express vs. Bear Country this match should have been on Dark, Dark 2.0 or shouldn't have taken place cause this match was trash. On Stage: Sting Vs. Lance Archer in a Cole Miners Glove Match at Double or Nothing book it Tony. Match #3: Darby Allin Vs. JD Drake, who in the is JD Drake, this guy looks like a typical jobber from the late 80's early 90's WWF/WCW. crapmatch. Mike Tyson was AEW's attempt on winning the last night of this so called "Wednesday Night War". Match #4: The Bunny Vs. Tay Conti was an okay match but too many people around the ring. Match #5: Trios Tag Team Match was meh The Young Bucks on and off face and heel turns are lame as , I am sick of seeing The Good Brothers and Don Callass. This Bullet Club crapthat they are doing is sad and the Bullet Club was good when Prince Devitt and AJ Styles were in the BC. Kenny Omega isn't a star in the states and him being the AEW World Champion isn't doing it for me and Matt Jackson needs to lay off the spray tan.

So after all the negativity of the episode last night (which I think was the first negative AEW show since the ppv) the young bucks have asked people to stop being negative about it on their Twitter or they will delete their Twitter again. How are these people suppose to know when a show is good or bad if when the fans are saying it’s bad they are told to stop by the evps?

I mean, not a good move, but maybe that was the original intent?

Decent show. I think people are too harsh on it because last week's was damn near perfect. Not having a standout match definitely hurt the show. The pacing was a bit of a problem too. A lot happened to further every current story, but most of the show was talking. Maybe it's my own personal preferences, but the fewer interviews & promos the better.
I don't know why the iwc is upset at the 6-man, I felt it was pretty obvious the Bucks would end up costing Mox the match. I thought they'd go full blown heel, but I'm cool with them hesitantly having Omega's back. It feels pretty clear this is building the the Bucks eventually saying enough is enough and have Hangman's back against Omega. I must have more patience than others. The build to Omega/Good Brothers vs Hangman/Bucks is clear (at least I thought so lol).

The problem I have with this Omega thing is while it's heading to vs. Page, is it going there right now or do we have more months of vs. Moxley (and eventually Kingston) that I'm pretty much over? Hopefully their repeated emphasis on Page being ranked number one is a not so subtle hint they'll be facing at the next PPV and Omega can go onto facing other people.
They also need to start giving the Good Brothers some mic time or something to allow them to show their personalities if they're going to be involved in such a big angle. They have the capability to be awesome and engaging (NJPW/Impact), and equally the ability to be completely indistinguishable (WWE/AEW). Their wrestling alone isn't enough to make them interesting IMO.
