I think we’ve gotten a good amount of Takers over the last few months. DoD, CE, L9, E85, CSD, B117. That should be enough to hold someone over for the next year or so. My first thought. Has anyone had as many figures as Undertaker recently? I get it cause I'm the same with Warrior, but neither are hurting for figures lately. Cena has had a few recently. We finally get SVS 96 Bret, and he comes without the jacket and with black wrist tape...Are you  ing kidding me? I really hope the wrist tape can be fixed. The fact that Wrestlemania IX won the poll for UE Hogan is baffling...Really does prove that the worst option almost always wins these fan polls. They should really do away with the voting and just make the decision themselves. ECW Cactus looks awesome, as does Legends Bigelow. So happy to see ECW attires (and titles) in the line after such a long time of not having any. Mean Gene and Roddy Piper are the two perfect choices to have reintroducing the Retro line. I'm excited to get my hands on both! While I'm thrilled to finally get a Bulldog in jeans, I hate that they reused the Legends head with slicked back hair. Bulldog's hair was super short during this time and he needed a new head to reflect that. And why are they still reusing that old Trish head? I hope that the rumored upcoming Elite has a new head. The Rock 'n' Sock 2-pack is a disappointment to me. I can't help but think their Royal Rumble '99 attires would have been much cooler. How in the world are we going to have an Elite Mankind in blue sweatpants before we have one in brown tights?! HHH's tights look more blue than purple...Perhaps they'll look better in person. I'll be getting both versions MOC, but not sure I'll be getting the regular one loose anymore. I LOVE that they chose to give Sid his WCW singlet underneath the referee attire. This just became an instant purchase for me! I guess they figured with the blue trunks basic, this might be the only chance at an early WCW Sid attire. Col. Mustafa might just be one of the best figures Mattel has ever done. Not sure if that smiling head was the best choice, but the attire is incredible! I didn't think I would want another nWo Scott Hall, but seeing that head along with the WCW logo microphone makes me want it big time...Although I would've went with black boots over red and a vest instead of the tank top. The chase Macho in yellow trunks is the one to get, since it has the accurate bandana and wristbands accurate to the "Cream of the Crop" promo, although I wish they would have just given him jeans (like the Superstar Entrances) and made Bigelow the chase. I also wish that he was packaged with the shirt on...Could purple stain? I guess they don't want to take any chances. I was so happy to see that Big John Studd, until I realized that they gave him his babyface red and white robe instead of the heel red and black one. Major disappointment! Haha! I swear man, I can understand complaining over some things not being right, but are you seriously in here complaining about wrist tape not being the right color? Lol! Like can you seriously sit there and tell everybody that you knew what color wrist tape this man wore in a wrestling match 25 years ago? Good grief |

I've never been more baffled by fan reaction to a head...That Scott Hall looks dead on to me. Yeah the hair isn't perfect, but the face looks exactly like him. For real, it is the single worst head I've ever seen on a mattel fig. I still might get it though (I'd like the thumb hands for legends Razor and I always like that attire), so I'd just do a headswap. it litterally looks nothing like him. im assuming the people who think it does look like him didnt watch scott wrestle back in the day. |

Elite 2 Rock & Mankind very nice.
Bret Hart SS elite, nice to have a different face/head sculpture.
L11 Scott Hall, the included hands are 2 sweet.

No Undertakers revealed besides that stupid Wreckem.  I'll get Mankind and The Rock 2-pack, basic 121 Kane, Battle pack Chyna loose, Legends Scott Hall, Bam Bam Bigelow and that's it. This was a great day for reveals IMO tons of great figures and finished it off with the the announcement of the return of the retro figures.
Some of my favorite things today were the new champships revealed and more specifically the ECW titles. I seriously never expected for those titles to be made by Mattel and I know the demand was there, but I only thought they would make the WCW titles so this was an amazing surprise. I really like all four Ultimate Edition figures shown today and I like the new version of that torso both the Rock and Cena have. It looks more better and allows more articulation plus I think the Cena figure looks badass! All the first time in the line basics are cool, but I'll wait for their elites especially Dexter. The elite 2 pack for the Rock N Sock Connection looks amazing and I definitely like that they made Rock'still have the interchangeable head feature to be compatible with with his UE figure I hope that's something they implement for every figure.
I hope we get one day an Asuka figure with a robe and I know he has gotten alot of figures, but I hope we get a UE MNM Seth Rollins figure since that two pack basic has his fur coat.

At least I hope. |
