Hoarding all those $20 figures and selling them all for $300 is wrong. Sorry. It's definitely kind of scummy but I don't blame him. If you came across cases of that exact series would you sell them at cost plus shipping because I and most others wouldn't. If I came across a case, i'd probably want to buy two for myself and then ask my friends, but then I'd want to make sure other people got them. I had this experience when I found the Cobra Island Baroness at Target when other people were waiting in line that day to get in and buy her. |

I assume Mattel no longer has rights to Harley. I want to believe if they get them back they will re-release King Harley and also give us an NWA version.

The remaining cases were purchased by a individual who has sold them at a higher amount over a longer period of time. Usually these end up at discount stores (Big Lots, Ollie’s, etc...) who sell them cheaper. Unfortunately this was not the case for this set. From a collector standpoint this sucks, but from a business stand point this guy is a genius & everyone saying they would something differently just doesn’t understand the basics of commerce/supply & demand. |
