So I was bored & browsing that auction site when I saw someone selling a complete set of the Harley race elite set loose. The person has sold almost 60 sets. I thought for sure it was someone from china aka bootlegs. Nope it's the same person who's been peddling the same set but moc for the longest time now. And he still has moc sets available. He's just moved on to loose sets now lol. Wtf. How did this one person get so many sets? I could understand him getting the moc sets when he first started posting. But c'mon now he's sold so many moc sets. Hows he still selling them with a never ending supply?

He is a liquidator from Canada. He somehow got ahold of all the remaining stock for flashback series 3 that was meant for Canada. He has made 10s of thousands of dollars [probably more than that]the past 2 years off that set. Infuriating to say the least.

Here in Canada I never saw Flashback 3. I saw one person post finding Race, Steamboat and Austin at a Walmart in Quebec. Posted the receipts and the Canadian packaging as proof. Never saw it again.

I posted along time ago that there was a flood of them showing up in Canada, with hat said I’m now tired of waiting for Mattel to release Harley like they said they would so I went head & pulled the trigger after reading your thread.

I bought my set from this guy. Loose for $225. Sold the others which basically gave me Harley for nearly free.

I saw that the other day as well when I came across the Jake Roberts he has. That’s a decent price, figured I’d see if he has Harley and he does. I’d never buy it for that price though. I even passed on Jake. That scan looks like a Simpsons character. Maybe Mattel’s worst.

I think they probably don't have the rights to him any more. With the different ways they could have released him (Collector's Editions, Legends, various sub-sets) - and knowing how few stores had Flashback S3 - I'm pretty sure Mattel would have released another Harley by now if they could... |

I got Jake from that guy. I still haven't pulled the trigger on Harley. It really felt for sure like we were getting him the way Steve was talking, and it just hasn't happened. Rerelease, NWA, nothing. I'll die laughing if he gets a Retro first haha.
