This popped into my head tonight and was wanting confirmation. WrestleMania III was my first PPV as a kid and if memory serves me correct, Hulk Hogan was the only person to walk to the ring that evening? Everyone else came in on the cart, but I am pretty sure Hogan was the ONLY one who walked. Can anyone confirm?

Piper and Hogan were the only 2 who did not use the cart.

Piper said in his book he didn't use a cart because when it was his time to go out to the ring the cart stopped working. So Piper was pretty much, "screw that! I'm walking!"
Though it made it more dramatic that he did. Adonis vs. Piper was the main attraction of the first half of Wrestlemania III, so it seemed fitting that both he and Hogan walked to the ring that night.

I would tend not to believe Piper as it seems highly unlikely the only time during the show the cart didn't work was one match and especially his. He was a smart guy but he was also a selfish worker and also not really the most honest (sorry fans!). He knew that coming out without the carts would be talked about, maybe not 34 years later but it would be something noteworthy when everyone else but Hogan was riding the cart. He probably even knew Hogan would not be riding the cart and wanted to show him up a few hours early.
